Have you had to use these yet for recovery? I have the passenger side one. Never used it. Not 100% keen on it. Debating getting the ARB one or getting the driver's side and pulling from both points like you said to better distribute the load. But ARB just seems like cheap insurance if you ever really need the beefiness.

Gas pedal is used on the 06-13 IS250/350. I custom retrofitted it to work on mine.

Well, I did this today. JBL Stage 3 6x9s (with sound deadening material inside the door). Along with the DS18 tweeters, it sounds pretty good. I got some video on my phone which, is not the best but, take a listen and see. I tried to show how this vibrates the rear view to illustrate how much "kick" these speakers have. I think they sound pretty damn good for $109 with the installation kit!

Okay guys, important message here. I was spending the past 6 months or more getting 14.3 mpg, so finally I reset the ECU using the disconnect battery terminals and touch them together for 20+ minutes, well I had them connected for all afternoon-not that it made a difference...

So now, first time I've seen 18+ MPG on my dash since my KDMax tune!! Just took this pic below. I'm happy!!

So this tells me that now, I'm getting 4+ more MPG, and per tank that will be 80+ more miles! Whoa. What is the point of the 'learning' ability of driving habits of this motor? It seems more like a 'handicap' of the truck than a feature. The truck now feels more efficient as well, before the reset, I had to practically stomp the gas pedal from a stoplight, truck acted sluggish, now it rolls from a stop less congested.

The learning process is likely confused due to the tune. It uses the perimeters of the original to set the throttle position sensitivity and fuel curves. And, when the ECU get confused, it goes full rich to save the engine. That's one reason to use a piggyback tuner. The signal is adjusted after the ECU so the base numbers stay the same.

If you're gonna do it, go all the way! lol

They still represent the "Raptor" emphasis of having lights in the grill.

I love mine...fortunately, I have not been approached by random people making fun of my decision.

I went with smoked ambers and you can't really see them during the day...they only come on when headlights come on.

Just got back from my first ride down some mild trails/roads to test her out and hit a shooting spot I scoped out last time when the truck was stock. Big difference in comfort and I just felt planted. I aired down to around 25psi hot and really didn’t need to but did it more for comfort and less stress on truck. I also liked to be able to go slower Aired down still be smooth without having to go 30 to 40mph in order for it to be smooth. Especially on this about one and half car gravel/ washboard road with a lot of blind turns. Anyway the taco did good and passes with flying colors on her modest first time offroad adventure since the lift

With my wife's nephew's help we installed the Sokie Tech hood struts. My problem is I did not have any metric sockets. On the '22, the hood hinge bolts are 12mm. One possible tip for others, when installing the post in the engine compartment near the air filter on the passenger side, we opted to open the filter box, removed the filter, and QTY (3) 12mm bolts that held the lower part of the filter box in place. Taking that out made post installation a piece of cake.

I'll add that the hood bolts were not that tight, and an open-ended / adjustable wrench would have worked fine to remove them - a 12mm socket wasn't necessary. A 10mm deep socket to install the posts in the engine bay is not required either. YMMV.
