Hoping so, Berta's definitely more a 1/2 ton and bigger kinda place but i've seen Tacoma's with Alberta plates on it before so hopefully they're on Tacoma world too

There’s a few threads but hard to keep interest.

there’s a huge Tacoma following, ive off-roaded with over 20 different Tacomas and Tacoma owners. Cochrane is famously called Tacoma town lol

Nolan, I’m going to watch your thread to see who comes out of the Alberta woodwork. I’ve had mine on one tune or another for awhile and am now a fervent KDMax fan. Best of luck with your new business.

Thank you, thank you and what made you decide on KDMax over the others?

After the initial tunes I settled with KDMax, obvious because it does everything it claims to do, but really because of @PapaRee and the above and beyond customer service. I’m not knocking any other tune, just really happy with KDMax. Currently on v10.0, normal, with some minor tweeks.

Alberta's kinda the wild west because cowboy boots or sh*tkickers are the typically attire, the oilsands is the main industry, lifted trucks are common grocery getter, not as much as say Saskatchewan but plenty of farming... Controversial but honestly we're the province with the most freedom in Canada despite some dark days from the past. We have our issues and aren't perfect but if you're looking to start off in Canada, Alberta also has the best ratio of income to cost of living. Not really a direct answer to your question but I find it hard to explain without doing a cross Canada Road Trip

So what made everyone here get a Tacoma out in the wild west of lifted trucks?

Also i'm gonna be in Grande Prairie the first weekend of November doing some tuning. I also have an ad running on facebook.

Spots tend to fill up quick so I ask for a 100$ deposit to reserve a time frame. Message me here, on facebook as Top Shelf Tunes or (preferably) text me at (780)881-7844

I'll post the exact date on the weekend in the next couple weeks, it's dependant on when most people want it to be so if you have a date that works best let me know.

Is this an automatic thing only? I haven't done my accumulator delete, but I would like a more even throttle response.

This is not just an automatic only thing. I have a manual and aside from the power the biggest difference I notice is the immediate throttle response compared to stock and the fact that there is no more rev hang.

There are three different throttle settings for the KDMax tune that I have ready for you to try. Even though you haven't deleted the accumulator yet (which i've also done and recommend), I'm still quite sure you'll be satisfied with how much better the truck drives.

Here in the Kootenays (aka West Alberta) the Tacoma is very popular since it fits better on mountain trails. Lots of Albertans come here to play, and the Taco serves them well.

100%. I'm not big into off roading but when my friends and I are getting a load of wood or something they definitely struggle with space and/or sinking because they have 1/2 ton or bigger trucks, whereas I can sneak by and float over all their obstacles.

Are you mostly into trail riding or overlanding?
