Good morning all. I’m a little nervous this morning. I just dropped my truck at the dealer for wheel bearing and lower ball joint. The previous mechanic was great but sold his business to a bunch of clowns. They keep messing stuff up or denying there’s an issue. Did you know that a sealed ball joint the has grease leaking is normal? Did you know that clucks after an alignment is normal? We’ll see has expensive this trip is.

I was more of a Jan and Dean, Beach Boys, Jay and the Americans and several other groups from that era. Could not get into heavy metal. But heavy metal is mild now compared to rap:eek:.

The problem most people have is finding a mechanic that knows his s#@t and takes pride in his work. One of the last is hanging out here with us old folks (@Tacoma Mike)

(Whimper) So sorry the other 150+ channels don't satisfy your needs. This is why I don't pay for TV. Pay for 150 and only watch one... IF you get so tired of channel surfing that you settle for whatever you hope won't bore you to death.

Yup, much as I hate streaming, I'm looking into it. No guarantee they won't raise prices. But Dish, and Direct are ALWAYS arguing about providng service, and they want contracts. RIGHT NOW, the game I'm watching and up next is on FOX.
Between TV watching costs, and the Spectrum equipment, that part is $200 per month.
Streaming can be less, but first pass on channels, is the crummy re-run network H&I wife always watches, and the war shows I watch on Saturday, is not to be found!
But, FUBO has a free trial offer on, and I might just try it.
Spectrum and Disney seem resigned to piss everyone off, and not change their stances.

We scored some poblano peppers from a friend's garden, so tonight we're trying to make Malibu chicken sandwiches. I've never skinned a pepper but that's what the recipes call for...

Skinning proved unmanageable. We slapped them on skin and all, and I now have no idea why people would skin them.

Only reason is skin can be a little tough, but most recipes with anything inside take care of that. And, they are better "whole"!

Best way to skin peppers is blister the pepper over an open flame, put the pepper in a bag for 15 minutes to cool and then use a blade perpendicular to the pepper to scrape the skin off.
