yaa, seems like so many movies these days unfortunately

 

It's part of why I like regular action movies and thrillers, they still get lots of practical effects and real sets. Rather than "we rented a bridge just so we could rotoscope everything but the road surface out"

 

I sure hope people don't get hurt or injured in a stampede.

 

I remember going to the New Years party at Times Square. After the ball dropped people started shaking up champaign bottles to pop the top and to spray the crowd. Then they started shaking up beers to spray. Then they just started throwing beer bottles into the crowd. Then somebody set off some firecrackers.

My future wife and I were in a river of people running full speed down 6th Avenue to escape getting hit by a flying beer bottle. I realized that if either of tripped and fell we would be trampled by the panicked crowd of running people. Ok we did it and lived to tell about it. I'm not sure I would do it again.

I don't need to comment on the artistic merit of superhero movies though if/when the money they pump into the system can end up benefiting budgets of filmmakers making other movies, I think that's a good thing.
I feel the world could still use fewer of them though. But they know their demo, I'll give em that. Those fuckers will line up no matter what.

Same, I have no desire to ever be in a crowd that big ever again.

 

Ive enjoyed my AMG in town but today I took it 560 miles west and boy howdy, does it eat miles. Luckily I was on back roads all day so I let the horses gallop. Was going to upload an image of an old defender I saw with British plates but the Internet sucks here.

Anyone know what the most amount of backspacing you can run to clear 315/75/16s without rubbing on your upper control arms?
I’m currently at a backspacing of 3 (16x8) and am too wide to not get in trouble with law enforcement

I plan on throwing my fender flares back on soon enough but am hoping to make it slightly more street legal
