I started looking for another first gen but a 4x4 with the 3rz extra cab and think I should part ways with the third gen. Doesn’t make sense to pay high insurance policy for something I don’t daily drive.

is it dumb of me to want to throw on a LCE low boost supercharger with a GFC on a high mileage 3rz (200-250K) truck?

I’ve had my first gen since it had 120K (since 2008-ish) and it has not given me any major issues.

Yeah I was looking at those.....I think those are better option than getting a 5vz....

Its just a lot of money....

I notice they are in a 4 month delay.

If someone would come out with a less than $2K model....I would think of finding an old 4-runner and soup it up...

I noticed that too. The delay isn’t a big deal since it gives me time to do other things like upgrade suspension and drivetrain maintenance.
