Exactly my problem. They don’t care if you walk away. Especially if you have a manual. I haven’t personally had any issues buying any of my vehicles but it’s becoming more common and folks sign right up for it without even questioning it. Makes it hard for the folks with a brain that want a specific vehicle.

That's why I found mine slightly used (2500 miles) as the first guy took that hit. No telling what they added on. I have glass etching so there's no telling what else they added. I paid under market value so the guy took a pretty good hit.

Same here. 4500 miles, 9 months old. Was a little skeptical about why it was for sale so early but so far that hasn’t mattered. No clue what originally came on mine either.

I had somewhat of a story of why he traded it in so quick, but am still waiting for that "ohhhh that's why" moment

I like to pretend my AC evaporator/expansion valve constantly making the wine glass whistle noise scared him away! As opposed to a real, much worse issue that hasn’t reared its head yet lol.

It is silly. There are a few technical reasons why nitrogen is 'better' than air fill - nitrogen hold less mosture than oxygen is one, and nitrogen will leak more slowly from the tires. But the benefit is so minor as to be not worth thinking about. The charge the dealer is asking is thievery. As I recall my local Costso fills new tires with nitrogen from free.

I've seen two used '23 MT advertised here in Ontario Canada, since I bought mine. Both around 10k km first is $6000 over msrp the second $8000 over. I paid msrp for mine with 38 km, and 10 of those were my test drive.

That's crazy! I paid about $3,000 to $5,000 less than other similar, and slightly higher mileage trucks were going for. I mean, I did buy the truck at a Ford dealer so that might have something to do with it.

Yep. My dealer added $1200 paint protection and undercoating. I didn't want it but me and several hundred other people wanted my truck so I took it. Glad I did too, she's a beauty!

Congrats! You'll love it and not only are all the bugs long since worked out, it's the best looking Tacoma generation ever produced.

Started driving 62 years ago, I was in the car business for 38 years have own every thing from A to V's never owned an automatic. 2011 manual no accumulator delete zero issues. Wife drives a 6 spd manual. Ya just have to be a little bit smarter than the transmission.
