Low coolant?

    LS1 swap with nitros.
    Crawl under your truck on the passenger side, with flashlight. You can look up on the side of the transmission towards the back top of the engine and see the suspect water pipe pretty well. You can see it in the driver side too but not as well. If you have a leak there, you’ll see it this way best.

    Yeah I did that too and didn't see any pink gunk so I think I'm ok. After looking at the manual it says anything between full and low is considered ok so it may have been like that from day one and that's why the dealer and my mechanic never said anything.

    i was told to crawl under passenger side behind wheel and shine a light up behind the engine and that's how i discovered the pink corrosion.

    I didn’t see anything obvious when I looked this morning. Although I really didn’t know where to look exactly. I looked all over the place and didn’t see anything. I topped it off and will keep an eye on it.

    as high up on the back of the engine passenger side. if it would have been there you would have seen it so i assume it's not an issue
