I know I'm a day late and a dollar short... and a beard short, but I'm actually so glad this thread exists. I've been on TW for over a year, yet I have only somewhat explored just the 1st Gen Forum. I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread!

Up a smidge but no appreciable difference. Like $10 increase over six months or something like that. Or maybe it was $10 a month increase. Either way, nothing noteworthy.

You know I'm up for a Mod day and have replaced mine in the past! Key is to do one side at a time so the axle doesn't roll and rip off your break lines.. When you fixing to tackle this??

I can take a look at the bumper mount for ya. I dont have quite the time to tackle the JDfab kit though.. I wanted to install that same kit on my Taco, but changed my mind.

Took some of the rifles out today to stretch their legs a bit and check out a buddies 50 Beowulf build. Cratered and blew out some primers in factory ammo...awesome quality control these days.

Also need to cut and heat some fender liners, scared the misses half to death when I bottomed out the tires into the fenders.

Took advantage of Metallica rescheduling and bought a ticket to their show next Saturday. Anyone else going? I enjoy concerts but don’t go too often, but I grew up on Metallica and will kick myself in the future if I don’t take advantage of this opportunity.

I really hope we've just had a round of shit luck in the condo we're renting...

Girlfriend's move-in was delayed a year ago because of a pipe leak that required a full kitchen remodel. She was given the option to move in while some things were getting buttoned up and spent a month with no counter tops, half the cabinets weren't installed and no dishwasher.

In December we noticed water around the toilet in our 'guest' bathroom and let the landlord know. No action, water dried up, decided it was a fluke.

Fast forward to a month ago and there's water coming out of the ceiling below the toilet we were worried about. Gasket between the tank and bowl failed and our dining room has looked like a kill room from "dexter" for a month.

Cut to last night and we spot more water in the kitchen above the fridge. Turns out the wax ring on the toilet in the 'master' bath failed and has slowly been leaking into the ceiling of the brand new kitchen.

Now half our kitchen is wrapped in plastic and we're getting gun shy about the prospect of buying a house or renting elsewhere. Virtually half our place is unusable and we've gone from 2.5 baths to 1 bath.

Just wondering if this level of plumbing failure is common here in the Phoenix area because of the climate/hard water? Or this condo complex is just hot garbage.

Oh man that’s rough. I’m no native, but that just sounds like a shitty condo and landlord.

I've noticed in the place we rent all the toilets rubber gaskets are swollen and literally falling apart. Ive replaced a couple of them. The water here is extremely high in dissolved solids. Tested our water and the salinity is around 630 ppm, you can taste it. Upon research this is standard for this part of AZ.

"The Department of Human Services recommends that sodium levels in drinking water be maintained at 250 ppm or lower. There is no standard for sodium in drinking water at the federal level"

    We now drink bottled water.

Working in the water industry and seeing inside several reservoirs around the valley all I know is I'd never drink the tap water.
