I’ve been busy but finally found some time to get out and see a sunset. I didn’t have much time because the better half was getting impatient but I found a lil’ bump to stretch. So much room for activities back there now!

Archive order in. I'm probably going to be putting in my order with @AccuTune Offroad next month - if I have questions, is it better to PM or email you?

I meant that for Accutune, but I'm sure I'll have some questions for you when it comes time to install, too!

Question: Hey Archive, why do you recommend 12" shocks with HD springs?

    Answer:
Only because of gaining ground clearance with 12" and Deaver stg 3 springs usually max out around 12" if that. Archive HD springs use all of 12" if not more. But if you want 14", our towers can stuff it without bottoming out shocks, 14" just forces the axle tabs to rotate down to accommodate longer collapsed length of 14", so you don't gain ground clearance like you do with 12" shocks. 14" shocks only add potential for droop, there is no increase in bump travel. Also, if you go with bypasses, we recommend 12" to ensure the piston is not up in the bump zone at normal ride height.

Is there enough room by the shock tower for a bolt on hydro bump mount like what total chaos sells?

Yes, the TC version has been fit with room to spare.
King's own bracket is close but several have fit that as well

Are you referring to the one where you C-notch the frame? If so that appears to be for spring under only where you move springs outboard away from frame

yes the frame notch kit. I didn't know it was spring under only. though it might be able to be adapted to use on SOA. Thanks for the quick reply.

I don't think so, it's way off the frame, I'd look at all the other brands

Thank you. someone else pointed out the leaf would probably be in negative arch at that bump height and I would ruin the leaves over time.

I read through the last ~25 pages of this thread and, while there are a lot of backspacing questions, I didn't see an exact answer for my scenario.

I'm currently running this kit with fox 2.5 12" smoothies and have the following wheel/tire combo:
    17x8.5 with 4.75" bs
    315/70/17 bfg ko2
    1.5" wheel spacer

With this BS and wheel spacer I'm still getting some tire rub on the shock body. Would I be good just bumping up to a 2" spacer or should I go even bigger? Trying to get it right so I don't have to keep buying different spacer sizes to try.

315s on a zero offset wheel is tough.
But going up to 2" spacer will be enough

Alright guys, maybe someone can help me out. I have a long bed double cab and I’m running 16” wheels with 3.5” backspace. Have the shock towers, wanting to go with 3.0 12” fox shocks. Anything else that I’ll need to get going? I’m also running ICON RXT stage 2 rear springs.
