That is very weird as the ECU pumps out that info on any OBD adapter. It's just the graphics that are missing for the rest of us. I wonder if it isn't hidden in there somewhere that some hacker could find given all the other commonality? Being a non-Tech / non-Prem MT, I have a bunch of open harness connections all over the place.

That was my guess as well. I would bet that it can easily be added but they want to keep it as an “upgrade feature”

Yeah you're good. I just thought it was funny. You are right though, it's a Pro and OR feature.

All Off Road packages have it. Keep it simple go to a RV dealer and get a stick on bubble angle indicator. Otherwise it looks cool.

I borrowed a buddy’s trailer and it caused a short in my gauge cluster/meter so trailer lights would no longer work. eBay’d a used cluster and plugged it in, now I have that pitch/roll gauge. I have an SR5 4wd, cool bonus getting the gauges from an OR or TRD. Plug and play. But you will have to send the cluster to a speedo shop and have mileage corrected, they will require both the original gauges and new gauges.. $125 for the programing at my local shop.

Cool! Now we know that's code in the gauge cluster, not the cluster getting told to display that info from another module somewhere.

Not that it would be any more useful, would be fun if it showed pitch/roll is smaller increments or steering wheel angle.

Would this mean the Gauge Cluster between the OR/Pro is a different part number from the rest of the Tacomas?

Can anyone confirm if you can read pitch and roll from the canbus?

    2023 TRD OR has it.
Initially I was VERY excited to have it but it has to be the most useless of all the gauges and displays.

the increments on the OEM gauge kinda suck.
I want to see if it can be read from the canbus. If so I think it would be more sensitive than 5/10 degree increments.

Who has time to look at the dash in those situations? There are many more important things to pay attention too. I consider it a gimmick that makes for good jokes.

It would be much more interesting if it had a record/playback feature that let me see how extreme I got after the fact.
