Wife's family is from CFC area. You ain't lyin' though! I've heard some wild stories about growing up in that area. I couldn't imagine attempting to navigate the hills in those neighborhoods in the winter!

I’m spending my week(end) up in the northwest as well. Got my daughter moved back into the dorms at UW Stout, and then to the lake house for the week. Relaxation? Maybe yesterday for a little while, but this is a laborious week. Getting the house a bit closer to ready for the big move up here permanently in a month!

Wife, mother in law, and I are putting the master closet together (drywall still in work), finished drying in the shower getting ready for tile (when Menards comes to the rescue with material shortages and only has pink stuff), and starting to prepare for a hoisting beam to get heavy stuff up to my garage loft shop.

Is that an intentional curb flex I see, Rich?

    Nicely done!

Body lift? Certainly there’s zero shame in that at this point. These are 35’s we’re talking about!

To be honest, I'm actually going to the mall Wed evening. Sheels is sponsoring a USCCA class titled: What happens in the aftermath of a self defense event.

Sounds like a good class. Definitely not something I ever want to experience.

    Yup. Sad, but true.

I've seen a couple videos of self-defense situations with analysis. It's interesting to watch a situation from an outside perspective and then try to imagine how you might react in real time if you were in that situation.

In the event of an aftermath you talk to nobody except a lawyer.
I've had my CC for almost 10 yrs.
Thankfully never had to be in a situation but it's there just in case.
Mainly just have it so I can have it in the truck when I want. Don't really carry on me unless I'm in the woods.

I am in discussion with a guy from the 2nd Gen on 37's page. He is helping me problem solve. Seems Adam is most correct in that I just need to be more aggressive with the hammer. I don't think the body lift is necessary, but I also was surprised that the fender go so damaged from the stuffage.

I'm peering into my crystal ball again...the tea leaves say you need to trim your fenders about 2" as well, give or take. And do the percussive maintenance on the upper fender and firewall/cab area.

It does look pretty with those 35's, do the trimming before you go full Tigger mode bouncing and stuffing and smashing so you can keep it beautiful. Really what you should do is pull the coilover and fully cycle with the tire stuffed and turned in all directions.

Or in the interest of fully corrupting your wallet (as is the title of this thread a la "bad financial advice"), JD Fabrication makes replacement inner fenders that solve some clearance problems. Downside is they create other problems like lack of money and having to relocated stuff in the engine bay.

    Free for the hauling.

17" steel wheel from a FJ Cruiser. Was on my spare but switched to a matching wheel. It was wool waxed so is just dirty, no rust.

Would have to pick up in Sheboygan before 3pm Saturday. Or maybe if you sweet talk @Taco-Grinder he can work out TW Express since I'll see him this week.
