    Good find, yep, I can turn the light on and off with a magnet…now I’ll see if there is a way to adjust the clearance.

    maybe Dometic would send me a new lid. The thought of boxing up and sending this cooler out doesn’t really appeal to me.

    When I had to do my exchange, they shipped me a new fridge, then I used that box and their shipping label for the return.

    Well, I'm happy to report that @Dometic has stepped up and fixed my lid issue. Great customer service, guys! I was put in contact with Bryan Rush who is the Territory Development Manager who got me a new lid. Seamless, no crazy questions, no drama, just a new lid FedEx'd to me in about 3 days. Easy enough to swap out and now she works as advertised. Thanks for the great support!!!

    @Dometic , I bought a CFX3 55IM in May of 2021. It has worked flawlessly up until early last month, when it started running continuously, freezing everything in the cooler. There were no error codes. I brought it to the local Dometic service representative. They ran diagnostics that generated error codes. They also indicated that the compressor would not turn on. After conferring with Dometic, they concluded the cooler could be fixed by replacing a part. The part is on backorder with no indication of when it might become available. I have been without a cooler for 6 weeks now. Is this normal customer service? Can you help?

    I had the same problem. They shipped me a new fridge and had me return the old one.

    Contact them directly, not the retailer, not on TW, and start a claim.

    Nope. That issue was never fixed, and Dometic stopped responding to my emails.
    Despite having a serial number that proved the unit was still under warranty, Dometic refused to honor their warranty without the original proof of purchase.

    At times I have been able to go back to the store I purchased from and ask them for a copy. This works best when they can search their records for an amount similar to what I believe I purchased at the time. The cost of one of these refrigerators is high enough it puts it into a higher sale amount that is easily recognizable.
