    Trade 21 for 23?

Does this look like a good deal? I would be trading in my 21 OR midnight black DCSB for a 23 DCLB lunar OR.

I’ve always wanted the lunar color and the 6 ft bed would be beneficial but not sure if it’s worth it.

Looks like not a bad deal. If you want a 6 ft bed (more versatile) then get it .

only you can answer if it's worth it,,, everyone situation is different.
The price looks just okay, and so does your trade in.
I wouldn't,,, I'd pay the 2023 off and get from underneath the revolving payments.

No: why restart your financing on a higher amount than you owe now for 99% the same truck?

As far as bed length: there is very little that will fit in the 6' that won't fit in the 5'. A bed extender would be an economical option if that's your issue.

Parking the DCLB will suck, too.

seems like a pretty cut and dry sales transaction to me. not sure why your are asking the internet if its "worth it." if you want it and can swing it financially, go for it

If you want it and you can afford it, buy it. Who cares what any of us think? All you're going to get is people preaching their version of financial "wisdom", when in reality no one knows your situation but you.

The only thing I would suggest is tell them to take that Zaktek sealant off. Put the $500 towards a ceramic coating from a reputable detailer, not some crap the dealer's delivery prep kid is going to spray on.

I would get them to at least itemize the "Total Fees" or remove them all together at least.

    Ha! My bad lol.

If you think you're going to move forward, there's no harm in trying to get a few hundred $ more in your favor.

I have only bought 3 vehicles in my life but I have gotten the doc fee (usually $500-$600) dropped on all of them. There aren't many cases where they will turn down someone saying some variation of "I'll take the deal if you can find a few hundred $ more in my favor" whether they target a doc dee, dealer fee, or some other fee

As someone who went from a AC to a DCLB and just traded in the (2017) DCLB for a 2023 AC I feel compelled to chime in.

First off, I agree that there is very little that won’t fit a 5’ bed that will fit in a 6’ bed…HOWEVER, the functionality of a 5’ to a 6’ for me is quite drastic. Keep in mind I camp in the bed of my truck and there are some sacrifices I would need to make with a shirt bed (cramped sleeping, less gear, etc.). The OP’s mileage may vary based on usage.

As to your last point; this is almost entirely the sole reason for my swap. Having to parallel park the DCLB in front of my house for a year was 365 days too many. The functionality of the backseat was amazing (and I’m sure my dog hates me for moving to an AC) but parking and driving the shorter wheelbase is so, so, so much better. I didn’t think the longer wheelbase would be as noticeable as it was.

As to the new payments, I/we cannot really help with that. Only your financial situation and values can determine if the payment is worth it.

As a (mostly) side note, part of my decision to trade in was also due to the new generation of tacomas removing some features on the access cab that are requirements for my usage.

    So for $8000 you get:
    • New truck (and fresh loan)
    • preferred color
    • longer bed (more utility)
If the $8000 doesn't break the bank and it is what you want to spend your money one.

It seems they're giving you a decent trade in value and a market rate for the new truck. So it comes down to what you want to spend your money on.

lol I've never heard so many guys complain about extra length

I freaking LOVE my off-road limo. As was stated above, it's not about what fits in a 6 foot bed vs a 5 foot, it's about the overall utility. In my case adding a roll up tanaue.

Also as stated above, if it's in your financial wheelhouse to start a new loan go for it.
After owning a DCLB, there is no way I could go back to a short bed.

Only 2 issues with a trail limo... you get high sided off road (especially if your 2wd:anonymous:) and parking inthe city;)
    Other than that, you're golden.
