I decided to go back to 31/10.5/15 therefore not gonna be doing Tundra brake upgrade. Have any of you tryed any other caliper/rotor/pad combination that seemed to make a real difference. Like PowerStop or if there's an upgraded caliper. Generally, to make my life easier, I always change the calipers while I'm doing the brakes and they are getting thin now....thank you

I got the power stop big brake kit/towing kit or whatever it’s called with stainless steel brake lines. Definitely a difference.

I like Brembo rotors for a replacement to the OE brakes. You pay a little more but they have a similar lifespan as the OEMs when it comes to warping. Most the aftermarket rotors I've tried warped allot sooner then the OE brakes.

To me this is very hard question to answer!!

Your changing worn out front brakes at the point they need changed .

The front brakes are now 100% new . No matter what brand of parts you use of reasonable quality which pretty much has plunged down in the last few years .

It will feel that brake performance has improved. All sort of tests and math could be used to get real world numbers. The ones I have seen in the past were done by brake product manufactures promoting there brand as the best.

Back in the day I never did get any real answers from all the Brake Manufactures reps I talked with in person.

Would anyone remove under warranty** front brake components hardware and hydraulic to improve front brake performance??

I swapped mine with slotted rotors and Akebono ceramic pads, but am still on my OEM calipers and rubber brake lines. Tundra brake upgrade might be in the future, but I haven't been moving a lot of load around in the back recently to need more stopping power.

Big Brake Kit. My truck is pushing 5600 lbs. It takes less effort to stop with the brake upgrade

Nice! What is the smallest wheel that can fit over your StopTech calipers?

17’s currently running 4Runner wheels. I’ve been told people run 16’s with spacers.

Right now there's about 60K on them on the Tacoma. I swapped to them on a ford ranger when the OEMs warped at 40K and they were on the truck when it was sold about a 100K later. I like Brembo brakes, all 3 of my motorcycles use them and they've been solid. Just know there's 2 versions, the ones made in Italy and the ones from China, I don't recommend the China ones and the reviews reflect that. It's been a few years since I purchased them, hopefully they didn't switch all the manufacturing to China since.

I don't know if this is still true but I was told once the Brembo rotors that come out of Europe are considered a better alloy then the typical OEM and parts store rotors which are mostly sourced from China these days. The brembo's compared to the Ford OE rotors I replaced it was a night and day difference. My Tacoma actually went a pretty long time before it's rotors warped and even then they weren't too bad. The Ford rotors got so bad they would rock you in the seat when coming to a stop.

That's pretty good. I changed to Brembo pads and Raybestos rotors and didn't get more thab 20k before it started warping. I just purchased the OE pads and rotors last week. I expect them to last longer.
