Any tips? Ours is a year and a half or so, and he's an absolute wiggle worm when we get home from work. Our vet said they can give him anti inflammatory medicine, but it's pricy for something that should heal naturally.

Yeah ours is normally quite the wiggler also. I just cut back on walks and obviously no swimming for a couple weeks. Tried to minimize jumping and stuff like that. Our vet literally said if she got too happy and wagged a lot, it could make it worse

I think typically if you just keep physically activity to low-key stuff, it will fix itself. Our dog acted kind of like she had the flu when she had happy tail so it wasn’t too hard to convince her to stay calmer than usual.

Bummer. Rimadyl is a common anti-inflammatory for dogs and works well, but lots of it/prolonged use is hard on their liver.

Mornin folks. Here's a look over my empire of stuff. Starting off the day with pumping 90 gallons of hydraulic fluid into a remote trailer. Enjoy your "monday"

Hey I've got the going grey issue, I'll live with hair dye instead of clothespins keeping my bits in place.

Hubs and I have already gone through about gallon of water a piece before 11, including some ‘salterades’ we make (lemon and salt in water, helps with the muscle cramps). This week is gonna blow.

Brings back memories from late '80s when I ran operations for a truck equipment firm. We did everything from state DOT plow trucks and tri-axle dumps to power company bucket truck builds, digger derricks, and crane installs. Back then used Heil dump bodies, lot of Teco and Mobile Equipment buckets, Heil packers. Forgot whose utility body we used on the buckets. Lots of 2800 gallon fuel delivery trucks also.

We do Heil dump bodies, they split and call them duraclass now. All our big tri axles are beauroc (Canadian). Reading service bodies as well, so pretty much the same thing as what you did. We tend to leave the state DOT to other guys, they can be a bit picky to deal with. And we don't touch plows. (thank goodness)

20230905_092640[1].jpgExhaust Manifold Laboring Day: The morning after. Socializing in the garage with my new neighbor, after spending the afternoon moving and removing pieces to get at the manifold, then spraying P'Blaster on the nuts periodically (and cleaning that part of the compartment) until late, mentally focusing on having all the nuts turn loose while asleep. Nope, but this morning, I'm happy that there's enough room for a 1/2" drive ratchet and 3/8 adapter to fit around and between primary tubes. They make it look easy in their videos with much use of an air ratchet on a non corroded Arizona Tacoma. Hoping to get 'er done by midafternoon, as I got a crack out of the lower six to loosen so typing this while the penetrant soaks. - My neighbor was troubleshooting his pressure washer, and announced, "I found the problem." One of his crew had apparently tipped it over, so it was full of oil instead of gas, and wouldn't fire. :yay: Progress!

I always love seeing those install videos on brand new/clean vehicles. The thought in my head is always "alright, now come do that on my 200k mile rig..."
