Dealer tells me that my truck is in Kansas City, but eta to dealer (in PA) is anywhere from 9th Sept to 12th of October.

Seems like a huge window. The truck is not part of any recall. Any idea why it would take that long? Toyota's shippers can't find truck drivers?

Glad to get a 3rd Gen. Wanted a LB, but it didn't seem like it would happen before 4th Gen, so I switched to a SB.

See post 18585, recalls can affect undelivered trucks. I’ve heard it called a field action. I have heard of other OEMs let vehicles sit on a lot for months, while all the corrected parts go to the factory.
