Well somewhat related I was in town today and the GMC dealer had a AT4 Canyon in stock so I stopped in.

Interior I felt was quite a bit nicer than outgoing Canyon, and compared to mine much roomier. My dad is also tall and complains of lack of legroom in the front of my truck. No issues in this one. This truck had the Premium package so had some nice options on it, yet the dumb dealer ordered it without a tow package. I’m like no thanks not interested in this one at all.

Also not a fan of no physical switch for headlamps and hiding them in the center screen. Granted if you leave them in auto you never mess with them again, I found it lame. Also the fact that GM doesn’t give you the full instrument cluster until you go Denali/AT4X/ZR2 is also weak.

Power wise it was very impressive, great low end torque, pulled hard, transmission was very smooth. Cabin was quiet although I could hear the signature 4 cylinder noise. Would’ve preferred to hear the turbo but no big deal. This one came in under $48k sticker, if I ever changed trucks I would opt for tow tech package and maybe upgraded audio but everything else is standard on it. The 2” lift is nice and sports the same Goodyear tires my Off Road comes with albeit 18”. Overall I think GM did a great job with the truck, and there’s a dealer in Tampa that whores them out at $4,000 off MSRP. So if price was the ultimate deal breaker that’s good to know.

Pretty ugly. It looks like they just chose a random spot to change the fabric color just for the sake of being different.

Don't like the new seats because the current model seats look so good?

GM heard people loud and clear on this....2024 models all get the full digital dash in both Colorado's and canyons. My guess it was not only the feedback but also that Toyota is doing it.

Really? That’s awesome to hear it just seemed very cheap for it to not come with the full cluster. Curious to see what all the 2024’s will offer.

They are also deleting the mid tune. So only 2 tunes now, the WT tune and the high output that all the Canyons got direct from the factory. It was option on all the Colorados except the WT for like $395 or so. I assume it will be baked into the price next year.

    Simple OME/884/AAL lift. 32” WP’s
Door panel looks dumb. In fact the whole interior is starting to turn me off. Hoping this looks better in person, or at least the SR5 is less theatrical.

Also, someone asks on the host site, but does the entire rear window go down like the Tundra? Don’t see the mini slider in these photos.

Don’t mind those, however think the SR/SR5 are better. The grey armrest area is kinda goofy, maybe if they were black it wouldn’t be so bad.

And it's weird that the put the lighter color where I would suspect most of the dirt would collect, this is is especially a concern if you drive your truck "commando".

I wish they would brighten up their interiors a bit with perhaps a lighter headliner. The near all black interiors are starting to wear on me.

Those look better than the 4th gen in my opinion. Not great, but better.

That door panel is very busy. These designers are trying way too hard.
No rear sliding window will be pretty lame if that’s true.

Putting the light color on the back part of the front seats is also terrible for anyone with kids in the backseat that like to put their feet on the seat in front of them. It’s going to get filthy. Same with dogs.

All the hard shiny plastics can f@ck right off. Even the show truck is scratched all to hell. What do they think real world trucks are gonna look like?
