Stock rear height

Anyone by chance know, or anyone with a fairly new long bed Tacoma care to measure...

Looking for the stock height (unloaded bed) from the top of the leaf springs (non-tsb) (bottom of the bump stop) to the frame.

I can't measure mine - 07, seen it's share of some heavy loads, 2"aal, snugtop shell.

Have some timbrens in the mail, but curious what the measurement is stock.

Not the measurement you're looking for, but today I measured my DCLB from the ground to the fender lined up with the center of the wheel and got 36" in the rear. My truck's a 2010 with just under 6000 miles, very little heavy loads ever in the bed.

Since no one has answered your question yet, I'll at least tell you that I had a hard tonneau on and two 60-lbs sandbags in the back when I installed my timbrens years ago (no AAL at that time). I was unable to slide the timbrens in until I removed the two sandbags. Then they cleared by maybe half an inch. So at stock heights without a tonneau (empty bed), I'm guessing you'll have an inch or less clearance.

 

Really? The timbrens (longer one) comes in at 5". With my snugtop (200lbs or so) and my 2" aal, I have 7 inches from leafs to frame. Needed to have timbrens send wheelers a 2" spacer as I was sure the sag of the shell was at least 1"- 1.5". So basically what I was trying to find out was if a stock truck has 1.5" or 2" of gap leafs to frame.....

 

With my tonneau and the wheeler's 1.5" AAL, I didn't get a spacer. In fact, without the AAL, the timbrens (IMO) were too close to the frame in that it caused the ride to be a little more bouncy since they were getting used on every bump. The AAL added an extra 1-2 inches of space above the timbrens now (even with tonneau on) and I think that's how they should be. Now they're only used when hauling a heavy load.

 

when I spoke to someone at timbrens they commented that with the weight of a snugtop, I should have the timbrens very close if not coming into contact already. Guess I will just need to have to install the 7" and see how she rides.. If it's crap, i'll request another 1/2" spacer and have them ride 24/7...

 

Damn... Guess I have to take off to snugtop to get actual measurements. Just measured my height and came back with 38.5. That would make total sense as I have 2" aal in the rear, and have gone to 70's...
BUT... That is my measurement with a snugtop on the bed...

Just installed the timbrens today. Frame is just barely resting on them (as planned)..Because of the camper...

200 or so lbs should drop at least 1" right???
