I normally give the 2 down wave gesture, but reserve the right to the schoolgirl wave for Harley dudes that have refused the "stick-ectomy" from the dealership implant.

    I don't get it.

Icon 1000 jeans. I love them so much. I can wear them all day at work and they don't appear super padded so they look more or less like normal jeans. Also are easy to remove the pads while wearing them if you decide to go slick in the office.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
New Leatt helmet I got on a clearance from a buddy’s shop in GA.
This thing vents so well and is crazy light. I run thru a lot of lids, so I tend to try and find last years jam for the low low.

If you can hold your helmet to the sun and see light, you know you got the vents son!

Brappp’n out and about. This is the first bridge I cross coming off the mtn from my place. It’s a chill little spot to take the lady in the evening.
The underside of the bridge is stacked logs.

Took the mosko nomax off and put on the new Gnat today. I like it so far, covers the key a bit but no more than the nomax did. I need to re-color the dots on my kriega tail bag to match this new color now haha really ties the bike together when those match.

    IMG_8996.jpg

It’s held on with volle straps, so it’ll come off pretty easily whenever I want to flip back to the nomax. Mounting points for that stay on the bike and it’s literally four buckles to put it back on.

Nice! Makes me miss my 2006 that I just sold a couple of weeks ago... Out of curiosity, how much does a low mileage 2008 go for in your neck of the woods?

I may be completely off base, but no way is that thing worth 35K. It's a cool rig, but too "personalized" for that price.

I went in thinking "how bad could it be?" after reading your response.

Jeez was it so much worse lol. Not knocking the style/taste...just very opposite to what I like. I personally wouldn't pay more than $7k for that thing, assuming they had all maintenance records and everything past the aesthetics was up to par.

I'm still not use to seeing some of the post WuFlu prices........it still boggles my mind. I still have trouble swallowing the fact that new vehicles can be so expensive.

Its allllll going to start coming to a head here over the coming months.

The inflated new vehicles prices by the dealers are starting to reverse because they cant sell, these type of crazy used vehicle prices you will note have listings that have been up for a LONG time Student loan interest accrual started back up 5 days ago, first payments required in 3 freaking years will occur in October (shame on them for not paying it back during the 3 full years of forgiveness). This is for 43million people at an average of 400$ per month. The average person across the US doesnt have enough liquid cash to support a 400$ emergency and average credit card debt is ~6700$ at an average of 24-25% o_Oo_Oo_O. Among MANY of other behind the scenes stuff in the larger financial sector with commercial loans etc etc.....

Be careful out there financially guys. The storm as I see it is just showing itself and its going to be a BAD one.

I've been watching a few bikes on Cycletrader for months. The price on them is still more than I think they're worth(especially since it's not a "must have" item).......just waiting for those emails to hit that tells me the price has dropped to what I'm comfortable with :D

We agreed on $6k pre-tax, which for here isn't bad at all (imo). They wanted 6.5k so they didn't budge a whole lot. But I've been looking for a reasonably priced 600 for a while on marketplace but they're all 25k+ miles, "dropped by previous owner" so the fairings are cracked/mismatched, and they still want $5K

    but why tho likes this.

Not bad at all. $6k is a fair price given the market. I'd much rather pay few more bills for a clean low milage CBR600RR with oem fairings than one that has been dropped and had aftermarket fairings.

Agreed! Low mileage and everything stock. Stock license plate bracket, clear windshield, mirrors still on, etc. Pretty rare for a bike its age and makes me want to keep it that way lol

This is judging a book by it's cover....but the type of person I see in that van........wouldn't have $35 to spend on it much less 35K
