Hey fellas, I wanted to ask about towing/hauling on Tacoma.

On my V6 max should be around 6200 lbs ( 6800 but upgrades that came with package lower it )

I live in NJ suburbs so mostly I won't be moving something huge. What kind of trailer do you guys use and how V6 feels doing it?

I’m not sure what you are asking.

This has been covered many times.
You might do some reading here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/towing.34/

Your tow rating might be around 6200 and the truck will do the job but it is a "tail wagging the dog" situation at best. Obviously everything below is my opinion.

Overall the Tacoma is a fairly poor choice for any towing over around 3500 pounds.

Part of the overall issue is the lack of payload, generally around 1100 pounds, this gets eaten up by tongue weight, that 6200 pound trailer will have a tongue weight of around 800 pounds (using 13%).
Remember passengers count against payload, you & the family best be lightweights as you only have around 300 pounds left to work with, nothing in the bed either.

The truck really doesn't have enough weight for good control of a larger trailer, especially a high profile travel coach under windy conditions at highway speeds, a flatbed trailer tows much better.

The engine makes plenty of power -- unfortunately it requires the RPM to be around 4000+ to make it, the constant revving is annoying so is the automatic transmission constantly shifting. It makes for a stressful & tiring drive.

Finally it will suck fuel like it is going out of style.
My 990 pound 5 x 12 utility trailer with a 4' high mesh tailgate/ramp drops my mileage from 21-22 down to 15-16 with the trailer empty at highway speeds, loaded with a 1200 pound mower dropped the number to 12-14.

Most of the issue here is drag from the vertical gate. Keep in mind a larger travel coach has the frontal profile of 2 sheets of plywood.

For local towing the same trailer with 1000 pounds of mower is no problem.
