Are those poppers on the grill surround? If so what for?

Ugly AF IMO, especially the 5th photo... Also looks out of place not being in HI.

I know some of you run Baja Designs lights on your rigs. I was wondering if they are worth the cash. It seems like all light are more or less the same price these days so I guess this is a dumb question. I'm looking at a fog set-up for our Bronco that is my wife's daily and it comes with
    (2) S2 Pro, Driving/Combo
    (2) Squadron Pro, Spot
    (2) S2 SAE, Clear Spot or S2 SAE, Amber Spot

The other option was a KC Light setup.

Lights have never been something I've stayed up to date on. Hell the FJ has a knock off Rigid light on the roof before the company got sued by them lol

Best out therein my opinion. Well worth the money. After running around at night last weekend in the wife’s runner with a cheap Amazon bar I think it’s getting about time to give her my 30” onyx 6 and upgrade my light program.

    Guilty!
And, even though they cut into the spending on truck parts, there is still fun in those kiddos, lots of laughs trying to raise them right

I had all Baja design on my last truck, and they truly are amazing. That said, diode dynamics lights are far more bang for the buck in my opinion, and the way their optics/lenses are designed is superior.

I think Baja Designs are absolutely worth the money IMOP,,,, but i'm biased, i still have the original squadron prototype and it works perfectly.

however, i think Diode Dynamics are amazing lights and "ahem" a good second choice.:D

That's good to hear that they are solid and I'll have to look at the diode dynamics. The Baja have a full kit that bolts straight to the metal bumper and connectors to the factory aux switches so that's also why I was looking at them

I had thought about those because I like the look but I can see her getting pissed while driving from Pilates and making someone see their god I their mirrors by turning them on if they cut her off lol so I figured fog level was a good start for her.

Done a handful of them for the newer fords with their upfitter kits and they’re so nice. Perfect fitment and look good

That's what I figured. Those upfitter switches are a really cool feature. I'm curious to see if Toyota ends up doing something similar down the road.

I saw Juan's photos from the cinders event, your truck looked good! It was cool seeing his out and stretching it's legs too

I had squadron sports that I got for free as my ditch lights. I now have KC Flex Era 3s, but the light output is very similar, I just wanted the look. That being said, I did just order a lightbar and some rear pods from Diode Dynamics, I have one of their lightbars in my front bumper already. I think they are the best bang for your buck. They make a really great product.

It was an epic weekend. And Juan’s truck works freaking good. Was cool to finally see it in person. I think he got the most seat time on the big Saturday ride. Never stopped making passes on the whoops and hit the jump more than anyone for sure.

The 4G supposedly has upfitter switches to the left of the steering column...

I run Baja on the runner. Wife has a mix of rigid and baja. I looked at the diode while buying and just said fuck it for the little extra cash getting the exact size I wanted. Stefan is running that Baja kit on his wifes bronco. He ran me through it a few weeks back and its fucking sweet how its all direct plug and play. Keeping everything under the hood and in the cab all factory looking.

To chime in on the already well discussed lighting chat, I went with a full BD setup on my truck house.

I am blown away at their performance. I am not a lighting expert by any means, but the top brands seem comparable. I chose to go with BD and I do not regret anything, price and all.

With the click of a button, night becomes day, on all four sides of my truck.
