I’m thinking this would be an excellent topic for a poll :pout:

I know the day’s barely started but I’m thinking I’m not liking the Wednesday after a Tuesday after a Monday holiday….

Especially with temps pushing 90 and dew points hitting 70… wtf.

Good morning everyone :hattip: (Sincerely, I really mean it…)

I ‘liked’ the post for the content, not the fact you could have been subjected to handedness conversion..

Also, my hand writing is so bad, I used to joke it was because I was left handed and educated in public schools by right handed teachers…

So same boat ( not a lefty ) would read everything but teacher told parents they thought I had a learning disability, and should be tested, so they did and we drove couple nights a week to this testing area , multiple hr of driving and testing, and they concluded I was just lazy:anonymous: and didn’t care  but had a 4 grade teacher in summer school spend whole summer figuring out how my brain worked and she made it click figured out how I learned and never had issues again. Fast forward to my son he was failing math in 4 th grade, we spoke with teacher (didn’t like her) said he was failing due to the fact he wasn’t showing his work:annoyed: asked him and he was like it is to much work to write it out to show the answers he sees in his head. :rofl:So after figuring out 5th grade was ruff on him with poor teaching we pulled him and he is now thriving in his home school. In Florida there is a virtual school that is public and it is wonderful , has a flexible schedule and love it, and we can go hunting in the mornings together

Good morning guys, have a great Wednesday.

Another big reader here, I’m a righty though.

My son is right handed but holds a pencil with his hand curled around and at the angle of the left handed people I know. He’s also left eye dominant so he does some things lefty, shooting a long gun and swinging a bat come to mind.

So, hopefully we can get a sample size on the first post above, then we can get the sample size of lefties, avid readers and working with hands! I will make sure to include myself in the numbers! Old school lol.

Yeah, looking back I'm pretty underwhelmed by my public education.:(

In elementary school my writing was so bad I had to do worksheets for practice.
    Like this:

    bf015229ae63ab27185a1b2bff647db9.png

Well, I did them - and they looked horrible, so I did more of them, lots more - just as bad...

Finally the teacher (blue haired and in the neighborhood of 85 ;) ) decided that I was completing dozens of these worksheets, badly, every week just to be difficult... o_O

Her solution was to have me turn them in directly to the Principal - this is a :censored: brilliant style of teaching as to a 6 - 7 year old kid there was nothing more terrifying than having to go see the principal.

So I did dozens more worksheets for him and he more intelligently decided that I just didn't have the coordination to write neatly no matter how many trees I killed. They must have put a note in my file because I wasn't harassed much about it after that, the worksheets stopped, trees were preserved.

Later I found a 1920's typewriter in a truck bed under some plaster & lath destined for the dump, the guy said if I dug it out I could have it.
I was the only kid in the fifth grade with a typewriter. My grades went up.

Just like this, the thing must weigh 30 - 40 pounds, quite the chore to bring home 10 blocks on a bicycle.

Things looked so sad like new or new being thrown away because it was cheaper..

They all cried out to come home with me.

It boggled my mind The first time I was told just toss it in the dumpster it went in the back of my truck .

It was possible I might have been over loaded that first time.

Pretty much I can use either hand to do most anything !

My hand writing if I print it can be read ! cursive after 2 hours I can not even figure what what I wrote.

I loved all those Girls that would type my papers some even typed class notes . They tried to help I think much was in hope of being invited home. Horses seem to cause that quite often to me they were just a part of life.

You guys are looking at an Aft Skirt Test article for the SLS rocket for Artemis II. Powered by Mono-methyl Hydrazine, two of these units, one per booster accounts for 70% of the steering of the rocket.

Today technicians are working towards validating the cart that regulates flow when filling the tanks of the real article.
