So I have discovered that I have a rather aggressive humming bird that guards the feeder I put out and chases off other humming birds from using it!

 

That's my new camo cowboy hat ... I just sprayed it with water shield ... hanging there to dry with garage heater on. Good eye tho.

That shit is insane - better to laugh than get pissed off, I suppose..

There are many reasons I don't have kids - but this 'getting the state involved' in what is your personal business, is pretty high up on that list of reasons..

My brother and I spent most week days home alone - at starting at 7 and 4..
We roamed the neighborhood - say 200 acres, crossed major roadways and were told not to return till dark on the weekends..
No one gave a flying F**k what we were doin and adults never bothered us - even when we [hood kids] were beating the crap outta one/another or firing pellet guns or almost drowning in a frozen over creek..

Also, no wonder so many kids today cannot cope with the real world - they never had a chance to grow up, learning to sort shit out for themselves..

 

We have three feeders in our backyard and a single hummingbird guards all three. He/She does his/her best to the keep the others away. They are very territorial.

 

Have to put out 2, one further away he cant guard them both

I did not know they were like that. Gees! Guess I'll need to get some more feeders.

 

Plenty of BoobTube videos that have been linked here - but if you do take it to the fishin shop, you'll probably learn some more stuffs - might be a cool experience.


I get buzzed by a hummingbird when I'm in the garage pretty often - usually startles the crap outta me!!

 

Hummingbirds are assholes!! All of em!!
