A little something every chance we get.
I don't like the square body so much, and the metal gets real iffy in the mid years.
I've looked up so much crap since the truck I got the money for went south.
I see that beautiful 36 as I need a filler neck, stock hood does not fit what he did, there's no tailgate, because S10 chassis, and he fills it from the fuel pump opening, and Vintage AC is a major kit.
The 51 example from tonight still has the straight, but there is a mod floor shift, Vintage AC would cost me $2000 plus start up, and interior stuff does not scare me so much. It's intact, not cool.
So, everything I find, I do some rough cost for me to do what I think I CAN do. And paint.....

    Good morning all!

You guys talking about cool cars and trucks could get me in trouble real quick. I could kick myself for selling off most of the cool stuff I had when I was younger. 3 E-body Challengers, a small block Dodge Dart, first year 2.2 Turbo Dodge Shelby Charger, '78 Ford Bronco plus parts and memorabilia. Bracket raced parts of 2 seasons with my 340 Challenger before I discovered it was way cheaper to go fast on 2 wheels and still get decent fuel economy. Have 3 motorcycles now and I'm always keeping my eyes open for another one. Biggest issue for me now is that anything I would really want to own is now priced way out of my price range.

    Packed garage. ;)

Good morning. Music lesson today. Then pack to the project list. Currently bit the bullet and started to hang party lights. After numerous garage trip for tools and stff I needed the support wire is hung for the string lights. That only took 2 hours in the heat. Record high temps for 3 days in a row at BWI.

    Good Morning everyone!

Update from the surgeon it's healing but live with it. It will never be the same. Well that's good news, . I kinda figured that is what I'd hear. I'm right handed but that wrist is fucked up, so my left arm had been my go-to for different tasks. Like opening jars and twisting stuff. But now it's just as weak as the right side. I can still carry heavy stuff with my right hand as long as I don't flex my wrist. Just keeping up with strengthening the left shoulder is what he said, it will be slow figured another 3-6 months to be back a new normal. I don't think I'll be picking up 6068 patio doors anytime soon :D.

    Good Morning Porch Folks :hattip:

Would love a 52 Studebaker PU Kurt and the price is about right ,BUT (there is always the but) I don't have a place to work or store it, my body doesn't function as well as it did years ago to get to places that need the work, and I think one of the biggest hurdles is the wife :(. She would not like me getting a another toy . The joys of life :D.

Glad you got the license and tag Carl. Now you just need to put them to use. My wife has been called twice in 3 years, but couldn't sit because of medical reasons. I haven't been called in over 20 years . Now that I'm over 75 I have a good reason not to sit. Probably doze off if it was a boring trial .

I feel your pain Dave. Some days are worse than others but I try not to let it slow me down although it does. The Transgressions of our youth have come back to haunt us :annoyed:. Stay strong.

How does the old saying go Kurt "One mans junk (trash) is another mans Treasure". A few of my neighbors have so much stuff in their garage they cant get a car in. but at least it isn't overflowing into the driveway like some neighborhoods .

Thats what they do at PT. It helps a lot and even doing home exercise's helps.

Have a good day all :D

My main transgression, shoulder-wise, was in my 60's! Flew over the handlebars of a bicycle after not seeing a curb sticking up through the grass. Took the impact on the top of my shoulder apparently.

o_O if there's one "good" thing about the darn garage, everything is on wheels, evev the Bowflex you can't see. Can be emptied in a half hour.
I need to put my fever in check, get that stuff gone!

If stuff is already on wheels, just add motors to them. Then you won't need to buy another Vee-hicle.

I separated my left shoulder (I'm right-handed) about 40 years ago. It created a nice little step in my shoulder and was extremely painful. (trip to the ER in the middle of the night for pain meds). I went to my friendly ortho Dr. and he said, you're not a professional athlete so leave it alone. It was a problem for 6 months or so and then I forgot about it. Since that time it's been fine. No pain, no weakness. The step has mostly closed up. There is hope!

@wdb I feel you there, both rotator cuffs R&L were done in the last 3 years, I couldn't raise my arms above shoulder high in front of me. So I couldn't hold a drill up, I can do both now but the left one is just weak. The heavier batteries are impossible to handle, I'm now just being able to ride my bike again that I can operate the handle bars and brakes with my left hand. The extension wasn't there.

I was thinking about drinking 3 or 4 cups of coffee on the way there, then maybe every 10 minutes raise my hand ask to be excused to go pee, that should get their attention! That could be a contributing factor as to why they are willing to excuse us senior citizens, worse yet, you could be sitting next to someone wearing a soiled adult diaper that's leaking!!!
I just called and asked that I be removed from the jury pool because of age, the woman I talked to said that I would, will see!

I’m jealous. My wife hates that I have a few saws and power tools in the garage let alone a project car. I would love to have a classic project car to work on.

BTW Travlr, ATV riding down by you was a riot this year. The hard winter created very challenging trails. One person in our group put the RZR on its side in a rut. Look at PST33 past Koosharem from Google earth. Tough 50” trail but oh so fun!

Geeze guys... The garage is officially project (dare I say "man"?) territory. The wife gets the entire house to do with as she pleases. Besides, what we do in the garage benefits women and children as well as us. Your wife has no interest in sliding across the seat sit next to you like she did in high school... in a hot rod? Might be time to trade her in.

And it sounds like fun on the Piute, knayrb (what the he** does that mean, by the way? Maybe I should use Bryan, it's easier to spell.) I bet the trails were interesting with the late snow melt. Talked to a guy yesterday and he was up in the hills over Labor day, saying it rained the entire time.

Good morning. Off to an Ear Doctor for a second opinion and probably a drain tube installed in the right ear. Should be an insightful morning.

Noticed a few masks appearing again, ramblings by newscasters of pending doom, and yet another vaccine in the works. Sigh. Throwing caution to the wind, we're off to town this am to pick up a grocery order and enjoy a breakfast out. We still have masks at the ready but tend to just stay away from the masses as much as possible. So far so good.
