With the exception of the SR5 and Limited it seems that the increase is right around the published inflation numbers. The SR5 and Limited are closer to the true inflation numbers.

When did Toyota release pricing for other announced models? They aren’t “guarding pricing like their bank pin,” they’re releasing pricing at a normal schedule like they and every other manufacturer ever has.

Ford announced the new 2024 Ranger pricing with their reveal.

I hear you, but… I can’t buy an LC until next spring, yet Toyota reps already told us the price. Or pick up a brand new Ranger either, yet Ford shared prices a long while ago. I guess I missed what the normal schedule is, b/c this particular schedule feels like somebody’s dragging their feet.

It won’t matter in 10-12 weeks anyway…verdict will be in soon.

They didn’t release pricing for the LC. They announced that they are chasing a different market and gave a vague idea of where the bottom of that market is. The Tacoma isn’t moving market segments, so we already know with as much clarity as the LC where pricing will fall

Fair enough. You can change that to “almost”

Correct: they gave us a price estimate of LC trims, day one of release.

Also correct: they declined to give an estimate of a Trailhunter, a Pro, or any other trim. And since spring (unlike Ranger), we wait. Really is that simple. And yes, it’s curious.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, if someone in charge at Toyota told you that their inconsistency of disclosure was related to market segmentation, then hopefully you share more intel w the rest of us.

Pricing at all trims will likely be a few grand more than the 3g. There will be few or no surprises and all this anxiety will be for naught

It's been 3 months since the Tacoma reveal, you would think pricing would be available at this point.

Sounds like their website might be updated on Tuesday. So you can do a build and see ordering packages .

Waiting to see what happens with 2024 4Runner if 2024 Prado LC250 and GX550 are being built. Would Toyota keep the line running and order 5th gen parts from suppliers for production?

I am going to guess we will not see anything until after the Detroit auto show wraps up which is 9/24.

This is my guess as well.

Hopefully we will hear some official news about the 2024 4Runner at the show too.

Im guessing it will be the 2025 model year for the next Gen 4R, 2024 seems highly unlikely since they still haven't released any info yet.

Which is really odd considering the Lexus GX 550 and Land Cruiser announcements. I guess they want to sell some cruisers before announcing the 4Runner.

Toyota does follow some odd schedules for vehicle releases for sure.
