    MSRP - $170

    Location: Simi Valley, CA
    Price: SOLD

This is literally identical to the Hypertech Speedometer calibrator which is $250.

I traded in my Tacoma and don’t have a need for it. The label says 2018 but i had a 2019 Tacoma and it worked perfect.

Question: does this unit stay plugged into the OBDII port or is it just used to program and once it writes to the ECU it is done? Asking b/c I use a scan gauge II and need the OBDII port to monitor transmission temps.

It plugs in inline to the cluster. You program the box on your computer, then remove the cluster and plug it in, reinstall cluster. Done

Can this be programmed with a Mac or does it require a windows computer?

Windows is required since the hypertech software doesn’t support osx. I had to install a trial of bootcamp, to run windows to be able to program mine. Had to install drivers (windows thing) and jump through all kinds of hoops, but in the end I was able to update then program the module on osx in that way
