Anyone ever swap tires on the HW Monster Trucks? Any tips, hints or suggestions?

Timing is everything in this game. There are common things that I look for and never find and then I come across these things instead.

I pondered making up some wild story here, but the truth is better in this case.

It was a gift from a friend :)

Found this hanging on the peg today at a Target... fantastic condition considering it's
©️2017. They still charged me 2023 prices tho... jerks!

Alright, show of hands, who thinks I should open my orange Matchbox 70th Anniversary set and use the cards for the mail-in double decker Bus?

I'm on the fence since I like the card-art, but the bus looks kind of neat.

Do you have to open those specifically? I thought it was more like spend $20 on whatever Matchbox and send those cards in?

It's just basic Matchbox cars, so you can keep the 70 year ones intact. Except it ended on 8/31.

I may or may not have kept any receipts from purchases this summer except the ones when I bought those. :frusty:

If you have any receipts for $20 or more of regular Matchbox cars, you can use that if it's dated between July 1st and August 31st.

If I was smart I would have saved them, but no dice. The 70th series is the only receipts I have which is the cause of my moral dilemma.

On one hand, it'd be cool to have them in the blisters and card.

On the other, it'd be cool to actually move the parts when they're out.

    I'll drink on it tonight.

I usually open mine unless the card has nice artwork on it. Or it’s a limited convention car. I think it would mostly depend on how I was going to display it. If it’s going in a box or plastic bin I would leave it. A Display case, I would open it.
