Thinking I may have to look into doing this. Tried some more ideas for the bed setup and nothing works while keeping the spare in the bed and having enough room to sleep.

I’ll let John explain but the winch farlead and the extra latch serve no function

Some fancy clamps in there! Just thought of one last possible bed option. I'll need a bed rail mount for it but I can at least get an idea of fitment without it.

Mine is just a folding hitch with a Curt tire carrier welded in. It was all bolted together but looks better welded. Way lighter and cheaper than anything I could find.

Mine has been strapped in against the back of the bed for years. Going to try in that location and see if it'll provide enough room

Dash control panel prototypes are here. Buddy of mine is big into 3d printing and offered to hook me up.

    Do
Dont tell me that lol. Guess I'll use a combination of straps like I've been doing on the other bed hardware.

Does yours not fit under the bed? I don't know what size you have.

Looks really good, Is it going to be functional as a 3d print? What material did he use.

This was a print - ASA - geometry test basically. The faceplate and housing are separate prints with brass thread inserts in the housing.

Mostly good except I need to send him some measurements to correct the angle of the faceplate, it has a bit of "nod" because I didn't notice the slight slope of the top of the bezel when the old cobbled thermoplastic brackets were still on there.

We've also been talking about a real fancy lit faceplate, so that will probably come with the corrected box.

It does but that technically effects clearance a d when these wear I'm going bigger. Plus I'd rather protect the wheel lol
