Just noticed that this is a Toyota Canada document. So it likely won't match up perfectly with the options/packages here in the states.

That TRD Sport Premium looks like a Limited trim.

The premium trim is probably going to be quite pricey too.

For someone like me it could be worth it if the US gets the same trim levels. I like to treat myself like a princess with all the bells and whistle, but do not want that chrome. If I could get a sport or OR with all those options then I would go that route. Hoping the digital rear view is an option as well.

You really think you get a portable speaker but no sliding window? You definitely would get none of that with out a sliding window lol
The speaker is for the higher prem trim I bet

The unique drivetrain, suspension and powered steps aren't gonna come cheap. Or at least cheaply.

I'm not convinced that's a final product, probably omitted it as who cares on a show truck lol

Im trying not to pick any nits here, lest I be accused of being another spoiled Tacoma owner, but…

Agree that lesser used off-road controls should be back where they had them in Gen3, and I’d even consider sacrificing the sunglass holder to do it. My guess is they’re crammed down there now b/c that crazy Tesla screen takes up too much real estate. But, sharing that same screen w Tundra saves Toyota more money than relocating those controls did.

Speaking of relocating controls, what’s with that “easy button” staring back at you? The bright red starter button looks Ivan Stewart cool, but placing it up high in your immediate line of vision is somebody’s bad idea.

The 4WD knob on the 3rd Gen drives me nuts, it feels like an HVAC knob. Also coming off a traditional lever for the transfer case in my 1st Gen. Would have liked to see a lever instead of knob, even if wasn’t mechanical. Would at least feel more natural.

Yes, I’m not a fan of the current 4x4 knob either. Feels & looks a little flimsy.

My FJ had the lever. Just a solid, mechanical engagement, a lot less less finicky.

I read your post perfectly well. I know from previous post you don't want a higher trim so you need not worry about the special seats or removable speaker . You won't get those anyway . Also unless toyota says no sliding window you still get a sliding window

You try way too hard to prove me wrong. It’s really weird. By the way you get what Toyota gives you. You don’t get to pick and choose what options you want.

Yup. That area is where my breakfast goes or some notes I’m working on, etc. it’s a dumb place to put rarely used buttons and features.

No fussing around with with it either. It is either engaged or it isn’t.

Knob is a bit temperamental trying to get it into low range.

Toyota should have transitioned over to the GR name with each introduction of the various new model vehicles. Starting with Tundra, then Tacoma and every TRD model. Something to liven up the TRD brand with something new. Having a subtle GR badge on the grill and tailgate would look more grown up than TRD all over the trucks. I don't mind the red suspension components, but I don't particularly like red trim on the TRD models. The GR Corolla has plain ole sombrero hubcaps, and I prefer the heritage trail, and TH script over the TRD versions.

I'm well aware I get what I get , I'm more of a Tacoma limited guy . But honestly I might end up with a tundra . Waiting until next fall though
