In my 1st grade, there were two groups of writers... the turtle group and the rabbit group. Guess which group I was in.
To be fair, I broke my left arm jumping off the swings at recess in 1st grade, so I had to write with my right hand for awhile.
In 2nd grade, I broke my left arm again (bad break, two places, one sticking out) in my attempt to imitate Evel Knievel on my bicycle. Had to write with my right hand again.
By 3rd grade, it really didn't matter which hand picked up the pencil, I could write with either.

I was an Army brat, born in Germany and moving between Germany and the states until my Dad retired when I was 12. In California in 2nd grade I had to take remedial reading. In high school I did horrible in math classes until halfway through my senior year and I was taking advanced algebra and trigonometry and getting consistent C's and D+'s. Then something just clicked regarding understanding the work and the last two quarters I received A's. Went off to college and proceeded to test out of the normal math requirement and took a course in matrices. I was a solid 85 student in high school but managed to graduate summa cum laude with both my BA and BS degrees. Confidence goes a long way. For me getting away from the expectations that surrounded me in high school and starting new where no one knew me in college was very helpful.

I saw some neighbor kids break bones with minor falls I could never understand around 12 I had the only injuries . I had a horse fall on my right hip and foot in the wet muddy ground I am paying for that now. Notmuch could be done as I was still growing

#2 was a broken collar bone from a bad bicycle crash on black top severe front vibration till the wheel ended up side ways down I went .

Rode the bicycle home the 2 miles company from out of Town was there not wanting to cause problems I waited a few days till they left before saying some thing is not correct.

I had not thought of this for a long time. Interesting the things I can pull up from Long term Memory.

My short term memory gets sent to long term so very fast I will need to reread this in a few hours to remind me what I typed.

Yeah, my bone break list is long, mostly from being in Nitro Circus long before there was a Nitro Circus. My last major mtn bike wreck about seven years ago I broke a finger. The wreck before that I broke shoulder and three ribs. That was in two years. I quit riding hard in 2019. I still ride, not much as I figured that 56 years old was old enough to quit.

Needs more rust and a full frame roll cage with straight pipes out the hood or vented out the side in front of the rear tires. No glass windows, plexy on the front. Metal front and rear bumper with cow puncher. Roof rack up top with a spare or two tire and extra jerry cans of gas and water. Plano box full of tools, rags, and oil. Toss in a farm jack somewhere on the hood or above the "trunk". Excess hood pins, can't have enough hood pins. Then it'll be an ultimate Mad Max vehicle. The interior would need a complete redux of course to fit the vibe.

Hard to tell from the picture it might very slowly be able to ease down my drive way.

I would have no problem with a test drive.
