I had the rear brake light and fuel pump done under warranty. Oil and Filter every 5K. No issues at all. It feels like she’s just breaking in right about now. Except for feeling a tad underpowered, all is good and I’m happy. I hope you have a good experience as well.

Pretty much stock except for running boards, mud flaps, bed mat, Clazzio covers.

Enjoy...You're right about just getting to break in point...I have put on just under 250K trouble free miles on my 2019. A lot of those in 4WD. I too have had a service/oil change every 4500-4900 miles.

2018 here, 50k as well. Fuel pump recall, squeaky clutch pedal recall and front TSS sensor recall. Otherwise no mechanical issues and my truck does not have an easy life.

Personally, I feel like power is adequate and my truck is heavier/taller than stock.

I absolutely love this thing, very versatile vehicle. Hoping to take it to at least 300k.

YEAH - I've put a deposit on a 23 Pro...it should be here this or next week...I may or may not trade mine in. I do not need another vehicle, LOL - we have a huge 4 + car garage, but If I keep this truck I will need to keep it outside as I park my tractor , mororcycles , 4 wheelers and a large UTV )...and then I'd never drive it. I'm torn - I just know I am going to buy another 3rd Gen.

The truck is still like new - looks and drives like it did when I rolled off the lot (Jan 19). I just don't have the patience for any repairs - I'm on the road so much it would be very inconvenient. I like how the 4th Gens look but I'm an old Boomer Gen guy and never buy the first 1-3 years of any gen car. I know what the 3rd Gen is and I absolutely love it - on and off road.

Why not keep it for local errands and hauling? Sounds like you’ve put a lot of highway miles on it. It probably has a lot of life left in it.

We have 5 vehicles - my wife is a stay at home housewife...the old Tacoma would be 6 vehicles...LOL.

I am sure it has plenty of life...my wife gets a new vehicle every 2-3 years and my kids all have nice cars...my wife and I are empty nesters...we also have 5 vehicles...the old Tacoma would make 6.

I actually rarely drive on the highway...we own a horse farm and it is in the middle of nowhere and I'm always going somewhere. If I trade it - I will save myself tax on the difference (in TN). I can tell you this, whoever gets this truck will get a gem as I did every maintenance item at the dealer and it never went more than 4800 miles between oil changes/service.

That’s awesome to hear and even more impressive that they aren’t highway miles. I’m curious what you get offered for it.

Carvana was 13500 I believe but the dealer is offering 18 - could be 19, I can't remember - it is written down at our home. I had them give me an offer after we agreed on the price of the pro. Problem is I drive 1K miles per week and the offer was 2,3 or 4 weeks ago LOL.

Thanks for the review. I'm only 1400 miles in on my 2023, same truck, and I can see me being just as happy as you. Love the manual. I have a 23 mile commute, 13 on the highway. I like shifting the other 10 in the backroads so much more.

72k on my manual 2018 Pro. No issues except for the fuel pump recall, 3rd brake light repair, TSB sensor, and squeaky clutch pedal. None of which where a big deal and all covered. Miles on the Tacoma would be higher since I drive about 35k a year but the driving is split with a 2004 V8 4th gen 4Runner that I love as well. Not a perfect truck but a great all around vehicle to have.

IMG_20230814_092743529_HDR.jpg My Tacoma has been absolutely amazing. My Wife has a limited 4runner again an awesome vehicle. We have stupid low miles, garaged kept and always maintained and always detailed by me. However we beat around in this old 4runner which is absolutely in pristine condition sitting at almost 300k miles. . Just goes to show that if you take care of them they will last
