Burning Man Aftermath

At my festival you can take an in-depth windows 98 class provided on an old school overhead projector.

I would like to go to Burning Man event, ummmm not this year! Lol. Would bring me back to the late 60’s and early 70’s. Why not, probably have ball. Reminds of my days way back seeing Pink Floyd, Robin Trower, Little Feat while stoned on LSD. We all have a past. I was told that the event is actually held on Indian nation land, don’t know if that’s true.

 

Stoned and lsd don't work together.
You can be trippin on lsd and mushrooms.
You can be drunk on alcohol.
You can be high on weed (Marijuana), meth or cocaine.
Or completely blasted on opiods, from codine or phentinal

 

To me “stoned” means high on something, didn’t touch most of what you listed back then. A little weed use and occasional acid trip and heck of a lot of good music that will never ever be duplicated.

Been a few years but I'd go back again in a heartbeat, cursing around on the mutant vehicles again alone would be fun enough. Fire octopus was a blast to be around.

 

Memio-graph copy machine (spelling?). I loved the smell of fresh copies coming off one of these machines. I did not realize it being I was in elementary school in the late 60s, but I was probably copping a pretty good buzz off that unique chemical smell.

Isn’t this a spirit duplicator instead of a mimeograph? Very similar devices, but spirit duplicators had the slightly purple ink and the good smells.

 

15 years ago in Nigeria I got my positive malaria report on a mimeographed piece of paper from that same type of printer that was stashed in the corner of the lab.
It reminded me exactly of being in grade school answering test questions on the same blue printed paper.Remember that smell?

My Buddy made it out, haven’t gotten the Reel story yet. But this Bad Boy didn’t make it outta “Burning Man” alive..

 

Ha, as for myself, I hated that smell cause I knew we were going have a test that day. Which more often than not, I was unprepared for. The ink on the paper would also fade considerably over time too. But still those were better days, bar none.

 

Yep, and I noticed he didn’t bother putting the step up on the trailer.

 

I saw that. Hopefully he didn’t hit something with them and damage them too severely.
