Wow that beam pattern is pathetically horrible.

I don't know what world you live in M8! That's absolutely fine. I spent over 40 years in aviation arguing with engineers. I'm not going to do it here with you. I admire your passion for the subject but, Sometimes, good enough is good enough. I'll let the members decide what they need. Have a great evening.

If you notice, the "cutoff line" (on level ground) is below the eye level of oncoming traffic until they are 6 car lengths away. Perfectly acceptable.

The beam should not be so sharply dipped in the center. Aimed correctly and the upswing to the left will blind oncoming drivers. Aimed down so that it isn’t a hazard to oncoming traffic and it will not illuminate far enough to see safely.

The LEDs you have chosen are also poor, they are using double stacked emitter rows that in no way replicate a halogen, which surely isn’t helping the situation.

The video shows an over abundance of foreground light, a problem likely compounded by the poor LEDs but also due to AlphaRex’s notoriously poor optics that shift the beam pattern from a distance light to a short range foreground light. Nothing about this setup is good.
