I appreciate the input. I ended up pulling the trigger with the OME with 887 springs and the OME E111R leaf pack. Seems like it’ll be the middle ground feel I’m looking for. After a lot of reading, it seems the 5100s are great but just a little more stiff than I’m looking for.

Is anyone in the STL/Jeffco area good with touch up? I've got a couple spots that look like crap after 8 months already

Yea dude before me left a bunch of these all over the back end.

What's funny is the guy selling the truck tried to tell me 'no man, this is oem grade touch up paint it's permanently bonded to the body and won't ever come off, never rust, and never need touch up'. Yea that globbed on touch up is a real work of art dude, it's 100% coming off within the first year.

Lol. We have OEM touch up paint here but I don't know how long the class it holds up. I know the two ravs I've done tailgates for have not come back with issues so there's that. I guess. One of them was even Barcelona red which is a tough color

By no means am I a pro painter, but I have painted many things. That looks like a full sand down, try to blend or complete body panel repaint. Trouble is, it’s a darker color and it’s been 5 years. That scrape is way too big to be treated with touch up paint/pen. If ya want it done right so ya don’t get rusty, I’d take it to a few shops to see what can be done. That previous owner had no business trying to cover that big a spot with touch up pen and it’s flaking off for that exact reason.

Not a bad idea but cover that bare metal with some kinda paint first so it doesn’t rust

I got a quote today and they said they'd need to do the full panels so both rear panels and tailgate was 3-4k
