Yep, 3M molding tape is what I'm going to use when I get a couple more bars.

Retribution, thanks for the reply on the 3M tape process. Are you going to include a connector with a positive and ground wire with each rigid light bar? So, two connectors and two rigid light bars for $29.99.

Also, to waterproof, I assume we'd need to fill the female end of each light bar full of silicone as well as around the connector. Is that accurate?

alright i think i am going to change my order, i am going to get 2 pairs(4 total) of rigid bars, 2 power/ground conectors, and 2 1' conectors. I dont know if the if you are going to include a power/ground conector for every bar but if so, instead of getting 4 and paying for the 2 1' conectors can you just substitute the conectors and not have to pay for them?

So are these setup for 12v cause in the original pics the LED bar is plugged into a wall socket.. Im looking to put some in the bed. Yours are by far the brightest but I dont know what length to get, or bar vs flexible... I just want regular white color.

    ?? Thank you

I just talked to my uncle. The connectors are not included in the light bars' price. We are only selling the bar to bar connectors in which you can cut off the male end and take the wires to connect it to the 12v source and ground. This is so you can choose the length of wire that you want.

    Correct

So for your set up you can get 4 connectors and cut two male ends off so your set up would look like:

    Fusebox----Connector----LED----Connector----LED

For the bedlights, personally I think the rigid bars would be more durable if something accidentally hits it or something. They are 12v, the wall socket is plugged to a AC to DC convertor box and then to my LEDs.

My uncle just informed me that it does not come with the black connector because we are offering the other connectors at different lengths so you can just cut off the male end and connect it to the power source and to ground.

I'd be interested in a pair of rigid bars. Essentially, I want to put one on each side of the bed rails. So I take it I would need the "pair of rigid bars" and 2x 1' connectors (cutting the male ends off to run power?)
When are these able to be shipped out? s/h options?

OP, I'ma gonna want some for bed lights and maybe hood lights too. But, I gotta figure out what connectors I need. Maybe you can make suggestions for a set-up? Also, will these light strips interfere with the functionality of the rails? I was thinking flexible light strips for the rails, for a concealed low-profile look, but you only mention rigid bars for the rails. Which do you suggest/prefer for the bed rails?

For the hood lights, you can get a pair of rigid bars, a 1' Connector and a 12v/ground connector. Depending on how many lights you want in the bed you can get either 1 or 2 pairs of rigid bars with a 1' connector in between them if you want to spread them out a little and a 12v/ground connector and a 5' connector in between them.

I am still trying to figure out the details of the connectors of the flexible strips. Both would work fine for bed rails, I would still recommend getting the rigid bars as they would be more protected against impact since they are being used in your bed. I will be shipping out rigid bars sooner then the flexible strips.

To answer your other question, as long as none of your bed rail accessories rub along the bottom of the rail mounting them under it would not affect the functionality.

I'll change your order according to my updates with the power/ground wires. My uncle wants to sell everything separate so you guys have more flexibility in the options you would like.
