Palm router is what I had, and yeah that's what I'd get again. They get hooked up to a mini CNC like Zane mentioned.

 

Some stuff just lasts.

I've got a 'Warrior' angle grinder someone let me have; I leave a wire wheel on it and use it a shit ton.

Still running just fine and it's convenient having multiple angle grinders so you're not constantly switching discs on one.

 

Hell Miguel has a shit ton of wood working tools; I should bring a whole list of stuff I want done when I go visit.

 

@eon_blue you and Sofia still build bird houses?

 

Yeah I bought the Makita compact model and you can easily 1 hand it.

 

I haven't made one in awhile, just the two and then the most recent one we made out of an old orange juice carton lol.

If I do it again, I'm gonna buy better quality wood and not the shitty thin cheap stuff I got last time. It's started delaminating and falling apart already

 

and the birds know quality when they see it, not one bird has taken up residence in our bird houses since I hung them up over a year ago

 

I actually like the middle one better, little girl was robbed

 

I've never had luck with birdhouses in my entire life. Maybe we never put them high enough, but then what's the point when you can't see them lol

we have a few morning doves that frequent our yard in spring and lay eggs, they usually do it on the wooden trestle thing we have over the patio and then the wind blows the eggs over onto the ground. Here I was thinking I was helping them out, then they go and build the same crappy nest right above the bird house I made hanging on the trestle.

 

Damn, even the birds in LA County are stuck up AF

Just live where Swallows live, they build their own bird tenements right in your path of travel and then divebomb you for fun.

 

That seems like it's violently above scrap value, which by all means is all it should be worth

 

Growing up, my mom was always terrified of big flocks of birds flying over head or hanging out in trees, because of that movie The Birds by Hitchcock.

Watched it when I was maybe 10 or 12 and it was more hilarious than anything, but then again it was a different time
