the first water crossing is maybe 20 yards or less, and about 30" deep...

the second water crossing is only 5 yards and about 20 to 24" deep...

Lol hey, man! They've got shit scattered around the whole building lol. I found air compressors in 3 different places! Does anyone know where (other than a stealership) to buy a spare carrier support bearing? Just getting all my spare parts before this trip.

Hey V! I have a spare. My carrier bearing was making noises and I almost put it on. But I'm going to put a drop on it first and see if that helps. Your more than welcome to borrow it for the trip. If you end up using it just buy me another one.

 

yah, it is, but according to the permit application, there is a non refundable $50 deposit to request the permit and there is no guarantee that it will be issued...

it also says to submit the application with credit card payment at least 4 business days prior to the event...

No I'm not. I already have plans or else I would. If you do want to borrow it let me know. We can meet somewhere or you can pick it up on the way up to that event. Or on the way up to the trip

 

I gotta couple of more questions. Regarding securing the battery, is that just with the j hooks and bar across or do I need more reinforcement? Also with the water crossing 30 inches is about 6 inches above the bottom of the doors. Im assuming the as long as I keep moving the door seals will do their part? I am also in the process of getting my spare parts and im wondering how much I should expect to pay for the carrier bearing?

 

As long as your standard battery is secure with your oem mount it will be fine. I've never had any water get through my doors.

you shouldn't need to worry about the carrier bearing unless you are long travel suspension... what suspension system are you running?

 

Lets hope no one has this issue. a real pain to change.
