    Just got back from Apalachian Trail Ride out at Windrock Park, TN the other day, and the 62 swap was doing work on the trails. Now I just gotta get some more lift out of it and my front end so I stop bellying things I should be able to straddle. If you're on the fence, get it.

    JD fab parts put in work last week at Cinder Hills! Gotta do some tuning on my front shocks, but loved how the equipment performed. Can't wait to see what it can do next!

    Picture request for the fellow JD taco members…
    Is anyone running 285/75/17 with -10 offset with the 2.25” front end?
    Want to see if fiberglass is absolutely required. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks! Was impressed with how it did, and I know it has more to give. Gotta do some trimming up front to use all the bump, crack the shocks open and see what’s in there. I haven’t taken apart shocks before so it’ll be fun.

    Catastrophic failure of a Mustang 5.0 that was timed wrong. All the Rockers on Bank1 Intake Side dislodged, most broke in half after a massif backfire at First Start Up. Sadly this was the Techs second attempt at trying to set timing on this particular job. Bank 2 was out time at the first attempt. The Primary Chain was found not on the teeth of the VCT Unit ( Phaser) but riding on the smooth part next to the them.

    @JasonT87 These are -12 wheels with 285/75.

    The bushwackers are about 1" wider than factory flares. Hope this helps.

    @81Trekker i have a question on bump stops. You sell kings with a stem mount and foxes with a pinch mount. I see that fox also has a stem mount bump, do you have a preference between the two styles?

    I personally prefer pin top because they are much cleaner looking than the pinch bolt style. With that said it’s easy to warp the pin top cans making the bump stop install/removal a pain in the ass.

    Some more feedback from SUA/Deaver H70HD. On the DCLB, these springs like weight. Here’s the daily bed setup, 2 full jerry cans of fuel and 35” spare. With a full tank of gas, the springs handle very well, but as I get past half a tank, a lot more chatter gets transferred to the frame. Point being, these springs like weight. 4 passengers, and a cooler in addition, had minimal sag and drove much smoother.

    I was also reminded when @Suicyco messaged me regarding grease with the EMF joints. Cleaned everything up from Cinders/Sedona (red mud is officially the worst), and found that after the weekend each joint needed approximately 2 pumps of grease. I went a step further and added dry lube to the bottom of each cup and the uniball pivots. Could have been the placebo effect from cleaning, but the truck seemed smoother and was definitely quieter than before. Some were mentioning premature wear on the EMFs, I’m thinking these may need to be lubed just as often as regular uniballs to keep them happy. :notsure:

    How often are you "supposed" to lube uniballs?

    Do you have the springpack complete, or have you taking out the 5th leaf spring?

    How many miles on the SUA/H70HD set up. What shock setup are you running?
