Saw this sweet ‘70 442 with what could have been the original owner driving it.

And a ‘56 Nomad rolling too fast for any good shots. Sounded mean, pretty rare to see one of these on the road.

LOL.. I'm not the one trying to define everyone else's tastes. I suspect your own panties might be chafing because mine are just fine.

I think I'll go change my Chevy rims now. Maybe to something Pontiac... or maybe even Buick. Hide your eyes.

Those are Torque Thrust and period correct as an “aftermarket” rim design. Even Cragars would be period correct as an aftermarket rim design. Would you throw Mopar Magnum 500 wheels on a first gen GTO?

I know a guy that has Viper rims on a Dakota. Personally I think they look fine. I've seen later model Olds rally wheels on a '65 442 and those looked good too. And the rims on that red Firebird look good on a '74 DeVille.

I'd never do 22 inch spinners on a 4X4 myself, but I'd never tell anyone else what to do. (I might chuckle a bit though)

I’m not telling anyone what to do, I’m just cringing in wonderment at what goes through some peoples minds.

My wife and I are buying some land north of Pittsburgh, and we spent the afternoon walking the property to ensure that there were no surprises before we close the deal. There was a surprise...

    20230908_131153.jpg 20230908_131212.jpg 20230908_131229.jpg 20230908_131232.jpg 20230908_131251.jpg 20230908_131305.jpg

It's a 1963 LeMans with a later 326 emblem on the trunk. It's already gone to the big hunting ground in the sky, but there are still a few tasty bits left. All of the emblems and much of the trim are salvageable, there's a full set of hubcaps, and the steering wheel and some dash parts are decent. It can at least become wall art in the new shop I'm going to build. There's no drive train, and I'll have to cut up the rest and haul it away, but we are Pontiac people and take it as a good omen for our new home.
