I'll save you the suspense because it's boring: They block off vision of school zone signs and set up speed traps (in my case I was doing 20 in a 15 because an empty bus was parked blocking the sign as I turned onto that street from an intersection). Because it's a school zone, it's mandatory to attend court the next day meaning you have to stay in town an extra day or they issue an arrest warrant. Since the area is part of oil drilling country everything is expensive - hotels are like $200/night during the week and alway at capacity. Then you go to court, state your case, and no matter what you say they will just tell you to pay the fine. Huge cluster and waste of time. Some great authentic Mexican food, taco stands everywhere, otherwise F that whole place lol.

I don't facetoob either. I don't think it was YouTube that got the ban, maybe posting things you're selling without being a registered vendor? That and politics are among the few things that will get you banned. (Being a complete azzhole will do it also)

I’ve been through Carlsbad quite a few times with no issue. I did get stopped in middle of no where Oklahoma once though, in the only town for miles… I told him I was on my way home from being on the road for work for a month (was true) and he just gave me a warning

Hey I got another hive mind question. Is it possible and/or worth it to use spring compressors to add a smidge of pre-load/lift to my dobinsons coilovers? Or just bite the bullet and pull them off?

I'm not sure I understand but maybe I'm just tired...are you asking if you should use spring compressors while the coilover is still installed on the vehicle versus taking the entire coilover out and then using a spring compressor?

I've looked at mine, and you can't get the spring compressor on properly to get enough pressure off of the collars to turn them to add/subtract preload while on the truck. Also, I don't think there is enough room to use the spanners properly. Not sure about the 4Runner, but I would guess you'd be looking at the same situation.

I need to pull my driver's side to add about 1/4" (maybe a little less) to correct a slight lean. I'm OCD that way...someone may notice when I'm out mall-crawling.
