    Enough for now
I will say I’ve seen a real spikey vw beetle in lajolla that participates in mad max fest each year. The build is sick and the owner is cool. Might be an alternative to worming man

Nope, we are open all night for 48 million dollars, plus we can't control the general public.

EVER. Only one time I can think of that someone really put Hank in his place.

My taste is similar in that regard, so many that people don't expect to hear. Saw Petty 2x, 1995-6 and his last tour. Beastie Boys hurt to never get to once though.

People do different things for that reset. Some travel, some go to shows, some buy stuff. All good.

IF ONLY. Saw them 30 something times. Almost wept the last time in Nov 2019

Different profession but a sports league in my area was doing some shady stuff under that umbrella and the IRS spent some time with them shall we say. Best case the president violated the law by repeatedly denying about 50 or so of us copies of the tax filing.

I don't know if "Pineapple on pizza" is supposed to be a good or bad response, I personally love a Hawaiian pizza.

My part time job is being a board member of 2 501c3 orgs. That is a very good summary. Money earned can go to the company in a few ways though.

We bought out one yearly event in this region a few years ago. Naming rights, existing contract with the venue for a few more years etc..plus the people owned a lot of hard supplies that we use not just there but for other events. BUT it is still putting money back into the business. We do also get paid though I'd be surprised if anyone on the board makes much minimum wage much less anything more really. True labour of love.

That all said your first piece especially is true and something people forget often.

Yeah, my point wasn't that people working 501c3's can't make money but that their financial records are subject to public disclosure requirements and so we can see where the money goes concretely without speculation. And if they're lying about their financial allocations, well, I'm sure the IRS would like a chat.

I linked the IRS form that contains this information above but I guess there’s a format for folks with a shorter attention span. It's on page 7, though. The numbers are actually higher in 2021 (than in 2018 in your link).

Importantly there's no "four million for Skillrex!1" line item that some folks here have proported. I personally never argued folks weren’t making a mint off it. Just that musicians weren’t paid.

Lots of comments in this thread that touch on politics. Doesn’t bother me, but a certain someone (control freak) who loves to ban people might have his panties in a twist… beware!

mime machine - good old elementary school and the lovely ink smell!

Me too - public school in Tampa was quite an 'education' aka asylum for children.
Oh and working at Target during those times - the 'adult' co/workers didn't hesitate to include me in the 'festivities'

I think it is supposed to be a bad response, as they are all bad responses
There are some folks round here that have strong feelings opposing pineapple on pizza.
    I like pineapple on pizza but . . . you know. . . people

Oh they usually do want the chat, saw it up close.

What usually ALSO happens is anyone's name on that document gets a personal little "how you been"as well. In my example the people were getting paid (which is fine, just be honest) and it wasn't being listed on the forms particularly. So the IRS chose to check some folks' personal tax filings too.

I used to know a self employed tax specialist who had worked for Customs and the IRS previous to striking out on his own. The IRS are the LAST people you want in your life and it's darn near impossible to truly get them out
