    Real question: are you gonna have to take the truck to the dealer to get the 'battery coded' to the ECU
    Or can you just swap em like we used to?

    I got 8-9yr on my BMW battery but it had to go to the dealer for that bullshit.
    It is a 2011 - the Taco is a 2013 - I think that is total crap..

    When I lived n SFla - I used to run gel cell batteries cause of the heat; they lasted 4-5yr..
    When I moved to NC, I found they did not like the cold so I went back to regular batteries :notsure:

    No need to “code” but you may want to “preserve” your learned info/settings. If so, just put a trickle charger on your leads while you swap the battery. For me, Toyota battery price was nearly same as Sam’s, WalMart, AutoZone,Advance,etc. but warranty was better length/prorate. Install was free.
