OK. Sounds good. Im running the ome kit with top plate spacer. Some more questions, (for the wife), what is the toilet situation like at the campsite, and this may be a stupid question, but there's no problem with just the plastic 5 gal gas cans, or do I need the metal jerry cans? Thanks, I just don't want to assume anything.

The toilet at camp is clean and comes with TP. the campground also has clean water that you pump at your camp. I also carry a portable toilet to use when we're driving in the desert...just in case. anyone is welcomed to use it.

what Johnnie said... they are your typical enclosed outhouses... i suggest bringing a bright lantern with you when using it at night...

its essentially a hole in the ground with a toilet seat over it... the campgrounds are maintained by the county and very clean.. i always bring my own toilet paper and wipes... the campgrounds host a lot of families, so its safe...

my snoring typically keeps the wild animals at bay except for any mule deer in heat....

oh, and as official notice, we will have our resident sheriff deputy and Johnnie's kids with us, so please try to leave the MEDICAL marijuana at home... plus, the rangers have a way of popping up out of nowhere...

as for the gas cans, the plastic ones at Target are fine... they include the safety valve spout too...

i think Target sells the 5 gallon red plastic can for $12

if you want the ATV style plastic cans, i may order a couple... $20 or $25 each...

not getting an intercom. pci puts together a single seat kit that attaches right to radio. takes place of mic. I have a helmet but only time ive worn it was for night runs in Ocotillo.
