So since you use the product, i watched the video on how to do it, it doesnt seem hard at all. Just need a good sunday afternoon after the steelers play to do it. So how well does it hold up? What are the results youve seen?

Initially I had thought about the OEM Plus system as it was just plug n' play but ultimately decided to go aftermarket headunit + amp.

Those are my favorite TRD wheels. Stock tire size on those Falkens?

@Tacodriver13 Tell me more about this. Ive heard about the ceramic car "wax" stuff but know nothing.. I have also seen a Gen 3 that had like a mirror finish. Im wondering if that was what it was.

The second most dangerous place to be for your wallet. I’m not sure which is first: on the trail (with those “nasty rock thingies”) or this forum.

It’s is billet aluminum as well as the spout. I needed a longer spout to fill with because I have the fiberglass bedsides and haven’t extended the gas filler neck. And they actually aren’t very expensive.

I have exact heavy ramps…they have held up fine in the half dozen times used.

The ramps get stacked one on the other and there are no noticeable changes in shape.

It does not hurt to be extra cautious and support the ramps with jacks on each side.

I also installed the TRD skid by myself and used my legs to lift the bottom portion while setting the front bolts. Once bolt started into thread, it was just a matter of lining up the rest of the bolts.

got a shocking deal on a suspension upgrade from FB marketplace and went ahead and did the rear shocks at work. still need to take the fronts to my buddy's shop to adjust the circlips but that should hopefully be done this week.

Did some overnight camping with coworkers and got to use my toppertent for the first time. A bit smaller room compared to the first one I had but definitely more convenient and easier to set up. Not even complaining about the space though since I’m only 5’8” haha.

Took my rtt and rack off. (Selling the rack) Build a roller dolly for the tent and put spacers on rigid fog light kit to point lights out toward ditch more.

Smoked turn signals, some sound proofing in the back. I used a pool noodle cut in half for those vents, still allows air flow. And memory foam seat cushion is a game changer, I’ve tried seat jackers but didn’t like them.

Just returned from the tire shop after installing some new shoes on my truck.
First time trying out a set of Falken Wildpeak MT 285/70/R17 , purchased from Amazon as they had a great price, free shipping, and I had a gift card to save even a little more.IMG_1094.jpg

Tire shop said brake pads are getting low and should be replaced, so that will be my next project. Any suggestions on brake pads other than OEM?

@JohnB81, I’ve been installing Akebono pads for years. Long lasting, very little dust and excellent stopping power.

    thank you @TRDRed
I have used Akebono’s before on my 2nd gen, I’ll look into these again.
I’m also considering the Powerstop Extreme’s but just weighing in on other’s experiences or opinions.
    Thank you again:bowdown:
