I have no idea, never had anything welded before. But I'm sure we could work something out. Thorton is a good drive but maybe we could hit some trails if we do the sliders???

If you guys meet up to do it, let me know, and chris, if you dont mind just taking a look at mine, i had them welded on in GA, and just want to get a second opinion and make sure they will hold before I hit any trails and find out the hard way. it looks a little sketch to me, but i have no idea what im looking at.

And if anyone is ready for a 30K mile checkup, let me know, im waiting for a nice day and am going to try to take it on.

I also need to clean up and repaint my sliders and avid bar, and while im at it i think i may try the BHLM.

Should I clean all the paint off as well as the rust when i re paint the sliders and avid bar? or just spray over everything?

    A few bolts are different.
get all rust off before you paint. If you do not it will continue to oxidize and bubble up the new paint.
