Update on the car search. We’re holding off until the 2024 4Runners hit the lot. Unless Toyota adds the dual zone climate and heated/vented seats to the OR Premium, we’ll be getting a limited or pro. I’d prefer the ORP then upgrade the suspension to Kings with the price difference but my wife likes all the thinks on the pro and limited.

I think that the Grand Highlanders are out now. I checked prices on a few websites and right now, they all went up from a 3 to 5K market adjustment and I’m not desperate or rich to pay that lol.

 

3 to 5k market adjustment on a Grand Highlander! I prefer the OR or Pro as far as the 4R goes. The Limited has that nice interior the only mechanical advantage is the alltime 4wd. The OR and Pro also has the manual transfer case. There was a picture of a 24 Pro in Terra over on the 4Runner website, that had the old style Pro wheels on it.

 

Hey the mark ups are crazy. No way I’d even give those another thought. By the time the 24 4R hit the lots, maybe the market adjustments will be gone.

The only, well one reason we considered the limited, is so it’s AWD and my wife would not need to think about selecting 4WD. Not that I’d expect her to ever need it. I’d have to remind her as well. She said that does not matter. Just trying to make sure she is 100% happy with what she gets.

I’ll add in the different suspension set ups on the ORP, Pro and Limited are different. KDSS for the OR and OR Premium, Fox for the pro and XRES in the limited.

I made an account on the 4Runner forum to learn things too.

 

AWD would be the reason to get the Limited. Toyota got rid of the Venture series which had everything the Pro had with out the Fox shocks, can't recall if KDSS was an option. All it needed was taller tires and Kings.

I wonder how long into 24 the 5th gen will be produced if the 6th gen gets a redesign for 25? I'm hoping that mini Cruiser isn't a rebadged 4Runner. There's always the LC250 to replace the 4R in the line up.

Have you looked into the Lexus TX? Those probably cost more than a GH with a mark up, but could offer more for the price.

I’ll have to check them out too. The Venture sounds like it could have been good but owell.

I’m just in a holding pattern while I wait for the 24. Unless I find a Pro close we can test drive and maybe try and order a 24 if they done announce any changes. I’d like to see the red forged UCAs added to the Pro but that’s probably wishful thinking

Not gonna lie, I love that green and am very jelly. When I was shopping for trucks 2 years ago, I was between a green TRD OR and the one I have now. Mine had 36k miles and the green TRD OR was over 120k. Both trucks were around $25-27k I had to go with the lower mileage. Sexy color comes second . I went ahead and added a rear locker to mine and the tow package later. How do you like your bed cap?
