Some no-name socket extension couldn't handle give or take 90 ft-lbs. Sheared clean off.

I’ve done that a few times. Did it to a couple breaker bars too! I turned the stub into a punch. They actually sell breaker bar head replacements. Mine were warrantied, so thank goodness for that…

1/2" breaker bar --> 1/2" to 3/8" adapter --> 3/8" extension --> 20mm socket

 

Could always use a pneumatic rated extension. That’s how I rattle.

I was pumped to hammer something out...

 

I moved to 1/2” for most of my muscle stuff. The Dewalt Atom is a 1/2” but I am looking for the 3/8”(not at retail) version. Already had a fair bit, but solidified my collection w/impact rated. I had a Honda crankshaft that wouldn’t let go, so I also have a 3/4” Krakken impact and adapters. Probably should have just gotten a torque multiplier…

 

Still, the thrill of releasing that MF’er has gotta be worth it.

 

Speaking of Krak(k)en, a few months ago for absolutely no reason, I was looking at Ariens snowbowers and came across this monster.

Now that is a snowblower!

I like how the pictures show the snow beautifully pluming away from the operator...



...instead of the reality of the wind blasting 100's of pounds of snow back at you no matter where you aim it.
