lol Yeah they haven’t released them yet to the general public, it sounds like maybe towards the end of this year they will be available. Right now they are just OEM tires on a few new trucks.

I was checking the tread depth on my tires today and found this…looks like maybe some stone drilling. ugh.

    you feel air coming out?

if not, don’t worry about it unless you have a warranty that come with it. You may get free replacement tire.

Nope it’s not leaking air, fortunately these are E rated so I’m not to worried about it. I’m just hoping it doesn’t start happening more often.

Got out on the trails again today even though it was rainy.

~135 miles round trip. 23 miles of those miles were on the trails.

I have decided that the sound of tires on dirt & gravel forest roads is one of the most relaxing things out there. The pics aren’t that impressive but man was it peaceful with the light rain falling on the trees.

I also encountered some horseback riders that were kind enough to move over and let me pass…

Mehhh. Funny you should ask that lol

    I just created this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/problem-or-not-a-problem.812458/

Preformance wise, they are great. They grip great on all surfaces and I’ve had them in everything. Rain, snow, sand, mud, gravel, you name it.

My issues are that they are loud AF now (35K miles on them) and they seem to have some dry rot going on. I used to run Yokohama g003’s which are a mud tire. Between 30-40mph these Grabbers are WAY louder than the Yoko’s were. Which is totally unacceptable for an all terrain, on my opinion. They do have some uneven wear also, even though I have them road force balanced and rotated/aligned regularly.

I want to like them because they preform really well but I won’t be buying them again because of the issues.

I highly recommend it! You could spend at least an entire day driving the trails there. Probably 2 or 3. They’re all very well maintained too.

I have Mich. Wisc. Minn. ND and Alaska to get to. And their going to be tough to get to since I don't have a reason to go to any of them.

Funny enough, I was actually discussing the logistics of doing Alaska with the wife today, that’s a tough one.

It’s always hard to find enough time to get to places that far, especially driving. We hit the other 3 you mentioned on our trip to Montana earlier this year.

That sounds like fun though. I can imagine it being tough to find that type of time and the right season to drive there.
