Only have to stop to go into 4low... just push clutch in an yank out of 4low while moving.

    I've seen over 260 I believe and I have a HUUUUGE Hayden, I'm talking like a 679.

Oddly what I've seen is temperature spiking even faster when engine breaking a lot going down hill. Maybe I have something wrong in the trans.

I want to try a trick my AutoX buddy swears by, and that is to not have the trans cooler mounted on brackets with lots of free space front and back, but to use the radiator tie straps most kits come with and actually sandwich the cooler onto the radiator. Seems that makes air actually go THROUGH the cooler rather than around it, as it leverages the OEM design of high/low pressures front/rear of the radiator. After reading about F1 development and how they setup their coolers to not have air go around but actually through coolers (think of the dead air in front of your tailgate while going down the freeway) it stands to reason. Could likely get lots more 'umph' out of our coolers by installing it the way I initially scoffed at haha.

I could get all the way until about 30mph in 4-lo 5th gear before I had to take it out. But Zane is correct per usual, just push the clutch in and then throw it back it 2-hi

I've always been afraid to do this too. And I got 2 low so I end up crawling in 2 in traffic.

You’ll need these donut gaskets where the collectors meet the crossover pipe.

With a manual sure. But with an auto? Think you'd be okay but you need to consciously put it in neutral first.

    That's an interesting idea.

    That's some sound ass logic.
My power steering staying pretty fresh, I think thanks for that mageline cooler tied up to the factory cooler.

Do most people mount them with space like that? Between the rad and cooler?

I mounted my intercooler heat exchanger right up on the AC condenser because that's the closest it could get and you can feel even at idle a nice breeze being pulled through it by the engine fan. Keeps my intake air temperature low even when just idling

As someone who’s been to both ATL and LA this year - LA still has them beat but it ain’t by much. With the CA exodus and the southern invasion, I wouldn’t be surprised if Atlanta surpasses Los Angeles for tip top of the garbage heaps soon.

Most setups I've seen here guys whip up custom brackets and have pretty big gaps.

I don't know if the autox scene had the sandwich style being very common but i respect my buddies tribal knowledge on it

New Led cluster lights. I prefer this so much more than that ugly orange.

Dealing with some serious drivers side floor rust… I thought I sealed the leak in the firewall but the proof is here.. luckily the cab mount is solid. Just gonna have to put a bigass plate in there..

Question. What would the best route be for treating the underside of this? The plate will mostly be accessible to paint/coat. But by the frame might be tough. Would a couple coats of a weld thru primer be sufficient?

Do they dim nicely? I'm guessing all 74 style bulbs?

Honestly not bad at all. Did it all in around an hour.

They dim relatively well until about the last 10% were they drop below the minimum voltage. But no they’re all 194 bulbs from superbrightleds. All in all cost me like 20 bucks and was totally worth it.

Also I went with the natural white. I didn’t want the heartless cold white or the warm white which would look like the orange it was originally. Natural white for the win.
