Sorry I missed that part. No, the machine sits in the garage like the queen it is. The shed is for patio furniture cushions and hot tub chemicals and whatnot. Shop build is in the works for next year hopefully for the tractor and other crap

Sorry but I do not, I know they are sold on eBay from stock FJs but they aren't cheap in my opinion for what they are. The ones I got were from an early 4R which the front caps were much longer for the auto-hubs. So I cut them down and tig welded them so they are all the same height. They were in rough shape and weld wasn't super pretty but painted all black you can't even tell. 136474.jpg 138928.jpg

I use 40lb softener salt bags, even in my little Corolla. 80 lbs in the trunk goes a long way for the Tankrolla.

Yea they advertise as 20x20x2” (19.5x19.5x1.5”). God for if the product matches the description. Not too heavy but they add up quick.

Plastic shed built and in place.
upload_2023-9-10_13-2-4.jpgYes that’s a rock garden and needs to be straightened out now that I stole the back corner for the storage container. For the record, this isn’t the one I ordered. It’s a lot bigger than the link I sent to the wife. Either way that’s my grandsons bedroom window and he’s a vampire so it stays closed with the drapes down for his gaming. I still don’t like it there but we’ll see how it goes through this winter. I may move it in the spring if it aggregates my OCD.
Edit: that window opens on the left side fyi

Installed Cali Raised cat shields this morning. I didn't raise the truck at all - just shimmed underneath as this seemed a pretty simple, straightforward install. Looking back I just made it harder on myself. Driver's side was easy peasy lemon squeezy, passenger side was difficult difficult lemon difficult. Shield just didn't want to seat right. Took a lot of finagling and the use of weird muscles I've probly never used, but it's done. Going to give the transmission bracket bolts and nuts a few shots of rustoleum as I worked 'em to death, and they lost a little paint in the process.

Looks good! Quick question, though... shouldn't one of the security bolts go on the front part of the cross bar and the other in the rear (one on each end)?

I thought ab that too. CR says they both go in that one spot (how I did it), prob because that part is threaded through the shield itself where the others aren't. But I suppose it should work either way. I went with this method bc I figure even if they take both other bolts off the end attached to the transmission support and bend the diagonal bracket back to expose more of the shield, there are still two security bolts holding it on instead of one. Of course if they have the little security nut all they would need is time. All they would need to do is buy their own set of shields. Most security nowadays is just convincing the marauders to move on the the next guy, so hopefully this accomplishes that.

Got a shovel, hi-lift, and gas tank, in the back, with the jack locked using a $80 bike lock. I love the OEM divider. I can't believe I had not even heard of it until a couple months ago!
